      Hi girls

Where do you get your shoes from online?

Cheap shoes are hard to find. I have never worn shoes with an outfit before and know I will make many many mistakes. So cheap shoes are all I need for now, until I have a better understanding of the styles I want.

Plain white or pink heeled shoes, with a cute bow to start with and I want my black mini dress to arrive before deciding what shoes to go along with it.

      I am size 8 male, which I believe is a ladies 10?

I have found a few cheap clothing sites, that I can buy clothes to experiment on different styles etc, without having to spend much doing it. I can also mix up what I get to see if that works better. Can’t wait.

I know the clothes are cheap but they look good and have very good reviews. I am only dressing for myself for now, but once I get more experience, fashion sense and confidence, I intend to introduce my real self to the world.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

      Love

      Michelle

EBay for my pathetic 3 pairs. Quality isn’t really relevant since I hardly ever get the chance to wear them.

      Hi There Michelle,

You be ever so fortunate! Yes, a man’s size 8 is the equivalent to a woman’s size 10. Shopping online (or even in person) should not be much a problem for you at all. As for myself, once I finally take the plunge, I probably look at Facebook Marketplace to see what comes up? The only other options are to shop at Crossdresser specialty stores, etc. Anyway, I hope that helps!

      Regards,

      Victoria-Rose

      • #605205

        Hi Victoria-Rose

But how can I shop in person, if I can’t try the shoes on.

A lot of the speciality stores have items, that look femme but are made specifically for men. I want women’s clothing specifically made for women, because I am a woman.

I’m tempted to buy from Amazon but my wife would know and as I’m closeted

      • #605374

        Hi Elizabeth

Maybe get them delivered to work or family members house. They won’t know what is inside and even if they did, the shoes are a present for the wife.

      Hi Michelle,

When i finally decided to admit i am transgender i went to my local ‘self-service’ shoe store and tried on several pair until i found what i wanted. No one bothered me and the checkout girl really loved shoes and had several suggestions for future purposes.

I did this during my lunch hour so i was, sadly, in drab but the other customers didn’t give me a second look while i was trying on obviously women’s style shoes.

So surprise yourself, take a chance and shop local and enjoy the instant gratification of bringing home shoes you like — and fit!

      Good luck on your journey.

      Hi Michelle.

You are so lucky to have a size 8 mens shoe size. Yep try a womens size 10 which should fit nicely depending on the style of heel. Strappy open toed heels and some pumps can be worn in one size smaller depending on the brand. Look for wide heels and maybe you can go with a size 9… idk.

With your size you can shop at any place that has womens shoes because they usually offer up to a size 11 womens in all styles. You only have to shop for style and price… lucky you! I have monster male feet… sigh.

Michelle, I am also a size 8 mans shoe size plus a wide fitting. I buy from New Look and Zalando and always fit into a women’s size 7 albeit wide fitting. As my wife explained that with heels the foot is shorter in the shoe. Also I refuse to pay the extortionate prices of shoes from specialist stores. Just bought 3.5”heeled ankle boot from New Look. My 4.5” heels were well under £30 from Zalando. All were size 7 wide. Hope that helps. Katie.

Amazon, Dolls Kill, and I just ordered some Alice in Wonderland boots from Hot Topic. I wear a males 8.5 to 9 and a women’s size 10 fits me fine.

It’s funny. I have 4 pairs of boy mode shoes, sneakers, combat boots, work boots, and some flip flops.

I have 12 pairs of girl mode shoes if I include my fuzzy D.Va bunny slippers I got for Yule.

Most of my shopping is on aliexpress where some listings have a “free return” option so if it doesn’t fit I can return them for free for a full refund.

Another place is thrift stores. It can be hard to find right size so frequent visits is required.

Your shoe size isn’t too bad. But finding shoes is always a pain. Generally Amazon is a great place to find them, but sifting through that isn’t always easy.

I have been compiling a list of welcomed sites: Torrid, Shoeshowmega (up to 14), shoecup (up to 16) and longtallsally’s are all ones that I have found are frequently mentioned and worth bringing up. I have ordered shoes from the first two and I have just found shoecup. LTS is just a very popular and often mentioned place, but they cut off like just before my size.

Hi Michelle. I am a bit baffled how you arrived at a womans size 10 if you are a male size 8. They are the same for men and women.

I was a male size eight and bought shoes from charity shops. My first discovery was that when wearing womens shoes I wore tights or thin socks. I was actually a size 7. Obviously your feet may be quite wide compared to a womans but these days womens feet are getting bigger so size 8 is quite common, as are 7.

The other thing to note is the european size. 40 is about a seven and 42 an 8. Sometimes you may see 40/41 on a seven and 41/42 on an eight.

Sizing can be confusing so this little tip will help a lot. Measure the length and width of your foot and take a little tape measure with you. Another is to get an insole and cut it to your foot size. You can then take that with you and try it in shoes. You are looking for your girlfriend and don’t want to get it wrong – which is kind of true.

Of course there is nothing like trying them on but that needs a little courage but I am sure that you could easily find a shop that will be kind to you but my little tips are good anywhere.

      Happy shopping

      • #605382

        Hi Katy

A lot ofcd/trans sites advise to go 2 sizes bigger than your male size. Some of the posters here too. If you Google shoe size calculators, they say the same.

Another girl Katie posted that she also wears size 7 and she is  8 male too.

I guess a trip out of town to actually try some shoes on is the best way to go.

        Love

Sadly, I am a size 13 in men’s. I’m 6’6″, so it’s not surprising. But that means size 15 women’s! Amazon does sell some, and I actually like the look of some. I look forward to getting some pumps at some point when I have more wife approval.

Us with big feet have such a challenge when it comes to shoes, or so it appears.  I have seen available but shipping time for them seems soooo long.  I actually think I have a bigger love of shoes than my SO.

I too have shoe trouble. I am a ladies 12, which not everybody has in store, so I find myself shopping online, though I have been searching thrift stores too. I have a pair of black heels I ordered on ebay, a pair of knee high boots from Zulily and I just ordered a pair of blue heels off of ebay.

I have looked at shoes on Torrid as well, but have not bought. Hope that helps.

        Hi Zoe

I am still not having much luck.

All I want is a pair of court shoes (thank you Tara) with 3 or 4 inch heel. Why is this sooooo difficult.

I’ve purchased 8 from Amazon now for my size 12 (US) men’s feet 13 women’s. Lishan has a pretty good selection. You should have even better luck with selection in size 8.

        Hi Lara

There is definitely a wider selection of size 8 shoes out there than 10s. I hate seeing something I adore but then can’t get in my size.

      Hi,

I’m a size 9 in male shoes (UK size) and some shops do sell size 9’s which fit me.  Primark for instance do a wide fit selection and go up to a 9.

I can sometimes squeeze into a size 8 too, but can’t walk too far in them as they are too tight.  OK for inside only views….

      Hugz

        Hi Jenny

I am hoping a size 7 or 8 fits me, it would make my life sooo much easier and make me look even more fabulous too of course. I am smallish, thin with smallish feet and hands, so I am hoping I am OK. I have no idea what a wide foot looks like, so I will have to find the measuring tape to find out.

My male shoe size is 10 and 1/2 extra-wide but I can get away with size 12 wide womans shoe. That gives me about a quarter of an inch space in the toe area to allow room for the width difference I need because of the shape of my foot.

      • #605655

        Hi Danni

I am going to take Angela’s advice and measure my feet and then go to a different town and quickly try a few pairs on,  just so I can get a better idea of my size.

      Hi Michelle

      I’m a UK male 11 and a UK F11 fits me well as does a F10 wide.

All my shoes have been bought on line and baring a couple of disasters which were cheap Chines imports) all have fitted OK

ASOS often have a good range of heels up to 4” in regular and wide fitting so worth a look so is Long Tall Sally though their heels are lower. Otherwise Amazon or eBay are good and the US company Pleaser have a great range of quality shoes but are expensive.

BUT be very weary of cheap Chinese imports

      Hope this helped?
