My wife and I started watching The show “Star” on Fox.  It primarily centers on three teenage girls trying to make it as a girl band.  It’s set in an Atlanta hair salon; which for me is where I find the show more interesting.  Two of the supporting cast play transgender females, Bruce (cannot recall who the actress is) and Cotton (played by Amiyah Scott, she is stunning and is trans in real life).  In one of the episodes Bruce (who I’d describe as more “butch” than femme, responds to a derogatory comment from a male protagonist, “..:I’m more man than you’ll ever be, and more woman you than you’ll ever get…”.   It is great to see more trans characters on TV!
