I haven’t dressed in well over two years. Thats ok because positive changes in my depression as well no privacy to dress kept me from it. Until recently the absence of dressing wasn’t on my mind except as a memory of mixed feelings. My femme self is glad to express herself here and on social media. Might not have too many chances again to dress up for a long time. Its like moving and missing a friend but she has had time to peak up lately. We are happy with a touch of nostalgia.

“Happy with a touch of nostalgia”. What a lovely sentiment. Hopefully you will get an opportunity to dress soon. It’s nice that you have come to terms with your situation. I know for me, not being able to express myself as Emily for an extended time can lead to a feeling of melancholy or even depression. Well done you for getting that sorted as well as you have!

Being in touch with those feelings and understanding where they’re coming from does make a big difference.
I will warrant a guess that some inspiration will strike as you spend more time here and the need to express yourself outwardly will eventually create an opportunity.

Hi Suki, and welcome. I think you’ll find a lot in common with others on here. Like yourself, I can’t dress often but I frequent women’s fashion forums on other platforms to satisfy an urge for pretty things. The nice difference here is that you’ll get tips and feedback from others who share your interests and see the world from your perspective.
