Stockings for garter belt

I am looking for quality stockings for use with a garter belt. All I find are thigh highs with the annoying silicone bands that damn near preclude you from fastening to the clasps on the belt.

Any suggestions on a maker? The more opaque the better as I am unable to shave my legs.

Hello Darcy,

I use open toe compression thigh highs… not the same thing but functional and they tend to stay up fairly well and don’t require a garter belt. Of course a garter belt does look very feminine and sexy!

I’ve had best results with  NuVein Medical Compression Stockings, 20-30 mmHg Support, Women & Men Thigh Length Hose, Open Toe, Beige, X-Large, NV4468BG-XL, Sold by: Amazon. As you stated, these don’t work well with a garter belt.

I will caution you, though, they require some effort to put on and off as they are compression stockings!

As for actual stockings, I really like the Mila Marutti from Amazon. They come in a variety of colors and really look great!
