if they tell you to get out, then do so!

every member… every person… every entity… is much more important alive than martyred.

I’m just grateful to live in the Seattle area, where we’re blessed not to have hurricanes. One thinks of old cliches: “‘Tis better to err on the side of caution/Discretion is the better part of valor….”
Like you said, when they say get out – GET OUT!
