I found, lately, that I have been using Tina and my male name in the third person. I speak as though they are not the same person. Has anyone or does anyone else speak in the third person?

Hi Tina as wife says to hubby a lot of things about Stephanie as a third person in the home as well as me as a drab man talking to wife about things that Stephanie needs or has to do over the weekend around here so she is like a third wheel ha ha ..

While it is kind of common in the community, I have never done it, and don’t think I will.

I have had to during some therapy sessions and talking with my wife about things. The problem is transpeople identify as one “person” when presenting as our birth sex indicates, but identify as the “other person” when we present as our true gender. For me, I will socially transition at the end of the year, and I won’t need to do that anymore.
Some of us want to identify as their true gender before representing as that, but for me it just feels strange to be called Brielle when I’m in drab mode so I feel like I need to use third person to get my message understood.
