I’ll start by apologising to our Trans-Atlantic Sisters; “Tights” means “Pantyhose” to you – I think.
I love tights and I love high heels; for some reason, there just seems to be some colour combinations that I can’t do with – and some that I absolutely love! Black goes so well with both red and pink shoes; yet I’ve seen a video from a CD lady who said about tights “nude [for a Caucasian lady] goes with everything – but if it’s black, it’s got to be black!” Would you agree? Are there any colour combinations that you think work especially well – or some that you would never wear?

My choice is either black, nude or one by Berkshire called City Beige. Those colors go with just about any shoes and clothing. I tend to wear more thigh high stockings vs pantyhose. I don’t care for pantyhose with patterns but do love wearing fishnet pantyhose.
I can’t follow why not love patterned tights… but fishnet? Oh, yes, BABY!!! Just why is it so difficult to find fishnets in anything other than black -unless you’re looking at whale fishnets, which just look terrible on me! Kisses: Holly.

It’s easy to follow…we are all different in what we like and dislike. Pattern pantyhose just doesn’t look right on me where fishnet goes well with denim skirts, which I wear quit often including the winter. I do like the smaller weave fishnets vs the really large weave.
Black, nude, white and cream are the best colors, but I like almost any color. I less like the one with multi-colors painting. I had a few multi-colors based pantyhose/tights but I didn’t like any of them. Right now I have only one left with multi-colors. I do love patterned, especially the black ones.Back to colors, I love very much neon blue, neon lime and neon pink, it’s so hot and I have all of them! My legs looking amazing in any of them. I saw a combination of 2 colors, different one for each leg, but I didn’t tried them (yet).
I have a lot of pantyhose/tights! 2 big drawers full of them without any room for more!
As for colors, I have many black, then nude, then fishnet black, then white, then red, then blue, then green, then cream, then the rest.What I’m wearing?
Black mostly. I have a very comfortable purple that I love. One cream that I love. The nude ones. I love to mix one of the neon colors with fishnet – it’s so hot! and it’s going well with either black or white boots/heels. Right now it’s the summer and it’s very hot to wear anything other then a very cheap black/nude that also not surviving after 1-2 times.To be honest I don’t care about the colour because I love to wear Tights or Hold-up stockings.
Tights collection: 10 black, 7 brown, 6 white, 6 nude and 7 golden glitter
Hold-up stockings collection : 6 black, 4 red, 5 white I have only one nude pair
Shoes: brown, black, colored sneakers (even when I am not enfemme), evening slippers are pink or white with 5 cm heels.
I have 2 colours for tights, black and nude. I have pink, blue, … but I rarely wore those.
I think you can mix whatever colour shoes with whatever colour tights, but for me I am anal on matching colours. If I wear black shapewear then tights, shoes, panties all have to match up. Vice versa for nude coloured.
I love to wear tights and stockings so I don’t care about the color.

Black,nude,natural mostly.I have many pairs.Also have some grey opaques which I love.A couple of Christmases ago my wife bought me a red dress.I wanted a pair of red tights to go with it from the UK hosiery specialists Tights, Tights,but they didn’t have any in stock.I went for a pair in pewter.Would love to buy red tights again haven’t worn a pair since I was in my mid twenties.
Funnily enough, much as I love the idea of red tights, I’ve never been able to find a pair (unless they cost roughly a weeks wages…) While grey opaques don’t sound great, I’ve always found that they look FANTASTIC. Anyone else love polka dots, lacey patterns and – maybe – heart or star themes? I’m probably just weird…… Holly XXX

Hi Holly. You’re not weird. You asked if anyone liked patterned tights…. well I do and I think we’re talking about the same thing but not sure… its leggings that I like with animal prints like leopard prints and snake prints, zebra prints, and other patterns. I have a pair of what looks like a camo print but in grey and black. I wear my leggings many days around the house, under drab pants or sleep in them. They feel so soft like a second skin and are very comfortable.
Not quite sure why, but leggings always feel different.. yes – that’s inevitable, but it’s not just how they feel to the touch, it’s how they affect me. I LOVE wearing leggings, but I’m unsure about patterened leggings… is this just another aspect of my strangeness? Leggings always feel gorgeous, but they are more about me being me; very “inside” as it were; they are just for me and how I feel. Tights are more about showing off – “World – look what you’ve got!” Does this sound strange? Probably – but more power to you, sister; enjoy yourself!!! Holly XXX
I love a yellow skirt with high heels. I couldn’t carry it off though.
Hi there, Maria; if you find anything that works, could you please let me know? I like Ruth-Ann’s suggestion of yellow skirt and high heels, but (as with everything) that’s only going to work for some of us. hi Holly Marie I ha e just got a black wig abd a red skirt that looks good I’ve already had a try of them on there look very sexy finished off wirh some black tights and some red platform heels
I have some tights mostly black, but do have a pair of hot pink tights that I just can’t throw away, been looking for another pair but tough to find in plus size, they have a run in the back have tried to keep it from getting any worse, but they look so good with my little black dress and ballet flats or my black heels. I do prefer pantyhose and like tan or beige, just like some color to my legs.
Most of my shoes or booties are black but I do have one purple pair to go with a purple dress. I usually wear black or navy hose, although I do have many other colours some I have dyed myself using white hose.
