I am trying this again. I had to reset my password as I didn’t remember it. I have been away for a while. Things got away from me. I have figured somethings out. I will throw myself into something, like this website and get overwhelmed and burnt out fast, them quit. I hope to proceed at my own pace. I am on several paths of self discovery. I now realize that I can’t read, respond, read, fix, please everyone and everything. Maybe that is obvious to you, but I grew up like that. Besides all the stress in life, work and hate for us in the news lately! I needed to step away from everything that I possibly could.
I consider myself transgender. My journey, the path I walking is of self discover, growth, evolving and healing. I know that I must consider my own needs, tend to self care and self love first. I love reading about other’s lives.

Hi Jill,
My mother was born in the mid 1920’s. I was born in the early 1960’s. My mother was not a flower child. My parents lived thru the depression and my father was joined the army for WWII. He joined near the end of the war and never saw action. My parents were pretty conservative and straight laced. I had an older brother who was a bit of a hippie. I remember when he came home from college for a visit with longer hair. That really upset a lot of people in my family!

Autumn
I had to build a lot of self confidence and courage to even make it to CDH in the first place, and yes, what we are going all going through can be overwhelming at times, wherever we are on our journey. I am also scared at times by my feelings, and I am learning (slowly) that that is ok too. One step at a time.
It seems as if you have a lot to deal with, especially at your workplace. Things can move so slowly out in the world when we are ready to make change happen.
we are here ti support each other and that feels good.

Welcome back to the sisterhood sweetie! Lots of us drift away and return. I was gone for almost a year not only from CDH but from my femme side as well. But I knew I couldn’t leave Lola behind for long.
We all have to find the right balance. It sounds like you tried very hard to be supportive to others last time you were here and I sincerely hope that this time you will find the friendship and support you need as well.

Hi Autumn, welcome back. Take it in stride, this is not a race. I too, get overwhelmed at times on sites like this and in my daily life. I begin to neglect all my social platforms I interact with or cut back on time spent. One thing I know is that when I’m ready to comeback, I’m always politely greeted which makes me feel uplifted. I quit trying to play catch up and instead, just blend back in. I try not to burn myself out.
