Hey girlfriend’s,
I hope all you girls had a good weekend?
My question is for those who have been to Ulta for a skin tone matching / makeover, do they do this in private rooms or right out in the open where everyone else is roaming around?
How much have you tipped the girl who helped you at Ulta?
TIA

My was good, hope your was too.
I’ve had my skin tone matched which is more in the open. I havent done a makeover but they are more towards the back of the store. To knowledge no private rooms anywhere.
I haven’t tipped any of the ladies at my Ulta. Don’t know if making a big whoops on that or not but I’ve not heard anything about tipping at Ulta.
Hope that helps some.

Pretty sure Ulta stores don’t have any discreet spaces. They do makeovers on the sales floor….at least every one I’ve been to. Some Sephora stores have a salon in the back, so there is a bit more privacy. Ulta, Sephora, MAC, and pretty much every department store makeup counter gets crossdressing and trans customers every day. The staff are used to it, and most of them are very welcoming to our community. The vast majority of customers will be women and won’t care in the least if you are getting a makeover. Getting a makeover is one of the safest ways for new girls to become more comfortable with being out. And it’s a huge confidence boost to see yourself all glammed up! Highly recommended!
I generally tip $10-20, depending on the level of service and skill of the makeup artist.

Most makeovers will be done on the main sales floor. Super high places are still done on the sales floor too.
