Hi all! Recently I had a thought about wearing Jeans with a dress. I googled it and found many photos of women wearing jeans or pants with a dress. I kind of like the look. Also, ever since the accident where I lost my left leg above the knee, I haven’t worn a dress. I used to love a nice dress with pantyhose and heels. But, I can’t wear heels with my prosthetic leg and my other leg is badly scarred and doesn’t look good in hose. I’ve tried opaque hose but due to the way my leg is starred, it’s noticable and not attractive. But, I’m thinking that wearing jeans or pants with a dress would look good.
What do you all think of the look of wearing pants or jeans with a dress? Google it to see som3 photos of the look.

As an alternative to opaque hose, I would suggest knit tights. Some have a noticeable pattern in the surface, such as:

I’ve seen this look a few times and like it. I say go for it.

I too think the patterned tights would offer much to hide what you don’t want to be seen.

Skinny jeans with a nice tunic style dress is quite fashionable Denise. A lot of women will wear skinny jeans/jeggings. Under a longer dress the jeans are a bit odd.Have you thought about leggings that come on varying thicknesses, stirrup style stop the bottoms rising up.
There is also the thermal lined translucent panty hose which, in your case, is well worth a look. These are amazing, they have a fleece lining but are overlaid with stockings giving the appearance of just wearing stockings, covering a multitude of sins and come in natural and black. There is a thinner fleece and I have worn them and the thin ones are quite comfortable.
