Hi ladies. So my week en femme has finally arrived after a hiatus of 35 years. With masterful planning 23 items arrived from Amazon today, including a dress, bra, open bottom girdle, suspender belt, stockings, high heels, a wig and makeup.
Now if I can just figure out what goes where … Wish me luck. Pics may follow but probably with my face obscured.

Thanks so much Joeanne. Love your profile. This may be a complete one off so the purge will probably happen at the end of the week. But I deserve this after all these years. I’ve also got a 5 hour session booked with a full transformation service. I’m feeling absolutely thrilled, nervous, a bit embarrassed and somewhat confused. Will post an update. And maybe pics?
Why purge? For security reasons?
It seems like such a shame to have to get rid of things that work for you.
Harriette, yeah I’d just never be comfortable with stashing my clothes, heels and makeup in the house. My wife knows the place better than I do and likes to rummage around. Anyway if I get another opportunity it won’t be for years and who’d want to wear the same outfit again? I can go through the fun process of choosing a new one.

Well that was quite a day! Probably normal for some of you but after 35 years I’ve had a lot of fun. Couple of pics posted, not quite all of me.
I bought two dresses,one ‘fab’ and one safe. The fab one wasn’t what I ordered, was made off a harsh uncomfortable material and didn’t fit. The safe one turned out to be gorgeous in a smooth silky material, no zip and an elasticated waist. I liked it so much I immediately ordered another in the same style.
I’m six feet tall and have a bit of the tummy but I don’t think I look fat! Makeup was a complete disaster but I’ve got a week to learn. I’ll check out some vids.
The wig was a lot fuller and longer than I was expecting but fun. I can understand why GGs always say they can’t do anything with it. Heels were so sexy and my walking improved throughout the day.
Oh and what a hassle removing nail polish completely!
Sorry to go on. Let’s do it all again tomorrow, hopefully with improvements.

Hi girls. With rare impulsiveness for me I’ve updated the pictures of my two dresses to show a little more of me. Obviously looking for more inclusivity or affirmation after all these years. Btw I have a smile that’s guaranteed to send young kids screaming for their parents.

Chrissie, I just saw the two pictures and loved them both. The entire photo takes on more life when we can see the whole you. I realize that you are taking a big step by showing your full face, and I understand that not everyone is comfortable doing that. But I for one am glad you decided to do it.
Your outfits, accessories and nails are all well thought out. Since you won’t be keeping them, at least you will have a reminder of this week on CDH.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you lovely ladies for showing an interest in my week en femme, and for your lovely forum posts, messages and comments on my pictures. After 35 years I approached this week with some trepidation and you have all put me at ease and made me feel such a part of this wonderful community.
I still have a couple of days as a girlie and I’m so loving the experience. When it’s all over I’ll post a reflection of my week. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these last few days.
