well, first off, this was not a Rue Paul show.

There were only 7 performers but they changed costumes several times and each inter acted with the audience in each set. It was a two hour show with an intermission. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show, including me.

how could beat it. It was held in a vegan compound, the ticket cost 19.90. Along with the show you got a vegan brunch, a nice helping of scrambled eggs, small breakfast potatoes, a small cup of chopped tomatoes, a square of sweet bread, and choice of coffee or a Memosa. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the MC asked if you wanted to, to give performer a dollar if you wanted to. Still a small price.

They preform every second Saturday of the month. Don’t know if they change groups, but same group will be there next month but with a totally different show. I plan on going again, I had that much fun.

I went en femme. With weather overcast and possibly of showers ( rained lightly first show ), I wore tan slacks short sleeve top ( double lined ) almost like a macrame with print on out side and a cami with print on inside. I don’t know what it’s called. A tan sweater, no buttons, like a wrap, and chocolate MJ’s. Hugs to all, Bobbisue J

      Only 7 performers!!!

      Wow!

I’ve been to solo performances, but most of the shows I’ve seen had just the one support act.

Victoria Scone had two, but she’s been on Ru Paul.

7 is brilliant bang for buck – VS was £27.50, and I thought that was a good deal. Tickets for The Vivienne are £40 – although she does have Baga Chipz as a support act…

Glad you had a great time – I look forward to reading about your next show – out of interest, was the audience mainly female, like it is here?

I love Drag shows – the perfect place to get your bling on!

      Love Laura

      Sounds like a great time!

Long ago there was a great club in San Francisco called “Finnochios” (check spelling), where all the performers were in drag. Some real beauties and talented people. I went a couple of times and never remember seeing the place empty! It was a real draw. The crowd was always a mix of people, all having a great time and really appreciative of the gurls! Wish that was still around!

Hi Bobbisue I always love drag shows and good for you for getting out and finding a outlet where you can dress as you feel while enjoying a live performance. I can only imagine how much time and energy it takes to learn there routines, put on their make up and pretty costumes just to make others smile. Its too bad they went to tipping by electronically. Part of the fun is stuffing a dollar under the garter or into the bra. It always bring out the most cheers. You are right 19.90 is a great deal for meal and a live performance on top of that you get to dress up and get out of the house!!!. Good for you

      Luv Stephanie

      Hi Bobbisue.

Sounded like great fun, a meal thrown in….and a chance to dress.

      Question…was there a ” tips ” jar….or maybe you had to tuck the dollar under a ……garter????

      so pleased you enjoyed it.

      Huggs, grace x

Hi Grace,  I could have sworn  I answered your question ( must be one of Anya’s keyboard problems..lol ),  anyway, no tip jar, just hold out money and they will come by and take it. At end of show MC announced could leave tips using electronic ticket ( I have no idea how that works )…lol, hugs Bobbisue J

Hi Grace, no jar, either hold out money and they would come by as they lip synced and danced, pranced and other antics while going through audience or they said at end of show could leave tip using our electronic ticket. Some women it tip in reformer bras, lucky had some singles  and got got change during break…lol, hugs Bobbisue J

      Hi Bobbisue,

Sounds like you enjoyed the show.  Was it a series of short comedy skits or more singing and dancing?  Still, a great price for brunch and a show.

Hi Alice,  mainly single acts with some fooling around between acts. Seeing as it was last show ( first was billed as “ family oriented “ )? , ours was ( antic wise ) more adult oriented…lol, hugs Bobbisue J

      Hi Bobbisue,

You sure can’t beat that price! just a night out to see a local band, and a couple of drinks will run about $100 any more.

It sounds like you probably had more fun too!

      Good deal,

      Hugs, Lara

      Dear Bobbisue ,

Sounds like you had a lot of fun for only 19.90 ! + a couple of dollars for the performers.

I think you will become a regular visitor there , the group performing once every month seems like a good deal !

      Love Sylvia.
