Dressed as a boy today and boy does it feel awful! I really don’t like the way it feels or looks, but have stuff to do around the house today, and don’t want to ruin my “good” clothes!
      🙁

I know the feeling. Recovering from broken femur, so almost everything is out of bounds. To many people stopping by to check up on me. I am really missing my panties and bra. On top of all that it’s a rainy day! At least it’s not a Monday!

Oh Lisa, so sorry to hear that!  Hope you are well, good and on the road to recovery!

      Kind of a follow up!
This morning I laid in bed for about a hour trying to decide what to wear! LOL!

      Gurl clothes, that is!

      🙂

I have one pair of old jeans that I use when I’m weed whacking the yard because that’s the one thing that I don’t mind messing up. But the moment I put them on I can’t wait to finish to take them off. Except for that any yard work I do I have on either short shorts, tennis skirt or those shorts that look like a skirt and usually a cooling tank with a sports bra. I have so few male clothes now and rarely dress completely in them for any occasion. I have 1 suit, 2 pairs of dress shoes and a few button up shirts. When I put them on I can feel something change in my brain, it’s almost like some hormone changes how I feel and I become uncomfortable and very aware of what I have on. And the very moment I can take them off and put on my Sandy clothes I instantly feel a wave of relief.

Lisa I went thru the same thing when I had my hip replacement years back, had packed up my fun clothes and put them downstairs as my daughters were coming over to help me out and others because I was divorced. I didn’t want them to see anything….  LOL  Eventually when I could get back to going up and down stairs again and getting back to getting around on my own, I couldn’t wait to get my clothes back upstairs and wearing them again…….

Hmmm, interesting situations ladies, I’m not sure what I would do, there’s no going back for me. I’m a full time girl and don’t own a stitch of male clothing. If I had to go in the hospital it would be wearing Lauren’s clothes, and the hospital gowns are all unisex anyway, LOL.

My wardrobe is extensive enough to include casual stuff. Right now I’m about to clean up a pile of junk in the basement and that will be done in denim skirt and wedge heels.

Last time I was in drab clothes was when I visited my MiL since she doesn’t like to see Kelly. She is now over here and while Kelly doesn’t come to her house she has to accept Kelly in my own house.

Ok, having a part drab day. Kelly always wear skirt/dress and heels and I may do a lot in heels but go up on to inspect the roof is not one of them.
