This isn’t exactly dealing with makeup, but it relates to a more beautiful appearance.

Two crossdressers I greatly admire are Micaela Weibisch on Facebook and Grae Phillips (singer). Grae and several others have said they do workouts to keep slim figures. Micaela has posted she keeps a trim waistline.

I want to know what exercises particularly work. I’ve been lifting boxes at a supermarket for a year. I’ve tried to drink water more often. I don’t eat many fatty foods. Just occasionally peanut butter and crackers and I’ve been starting to eat more meat and protein. My waistline is 42 inches in circumference. There’s a midsection bulge. I have hypothyroidism.

Ironically to burn fat, you need to go low carb and a higher fat diet.

I do the keto diet and naturally lost 45kg.

I plan on getting one of those infinity hoop weighted hula hoop devices from Amazon. I definitely want to get my waistline down because I got these three cute metal belts from SHEIN that I want to wear but have to lose some waist line first!

Crunches will help the waistline. I also do a lot of leg exercises to help my thighs, hips and glutes. Like others have said, exercise is only a part. Diet is very important and it sounds like you are headed in the right direction. I have done a version of Keto in the past and it worked well for me. I’m going back to it since I am nowhere near where I want to be. Skinny bitch here I come!

      Hi Samantha,

I’m not a nutritionist or a doctor but from my experience, reading, and practice, exercise is only one component of a larger picture so it’s nearly impossible to say such and such exercise will lead to such and such results.

Two very important concepts are your hormones and basal metabolic rate, which is basically how many calories you burn simply to exist and function.

You need to have a good hormonal balance and essentially increase your BMR through things like sustainable nutrition and lifestyle (not dieting), controlling your stress through activities like breathing/mindfulness/meditation (again, hormones), sleep, and also exercise (this can increase stress hormones, etc.).

I highly recommend reading and watching some stuff by Dr. Sten Ekberg as a starting point.

      Hope this helps!

I only know that fat loss in one area is a myth. Lose weight overall and tighten up the abs.
