I voted my 3 favorite leg wear as follows:
#3: Tights; sheer 20 denier to opaque 50-60 denier.
#2: Thigh High Stockings; with a garter/suspender belt or stay-ups with the sticky silicone bands on the inside of the welt.
#1: Suspender Hose; these are pantyhose that does not have a gusset and pelvic panels.
Honorable mention: Leggings; I have been wearing leggings under my male work pants during the past few winter seasons, sweatpants just were not keeping my legs warm enough. Thanks to everyone here who had suggested them. I am expecting to be needing to bring them out of their storage trunk by the end of next month.

Cant wait till it cools down. The leggings and over sized short will be coming out. The one thing i can get away with wearing. Thigh highs and a garter is rare. Anklets i will sneak when i wear long socks.

My answer was pantyhose and thigh highs. Pantyhose are my favorite, I have plain black, nude and white ones, they are probably the feminine garment that I like the most and they make me feel the most feminine, they simply fascinate me haha. I also chose thigh-high stockings because I also find them versatile and sexy, especially combined with a garter belt, and I also have several pairs of these in different colors.Greetings to all girls

I’m a dedicated tights… um, pantyhose girl. Sheer to waist, glossy and sheer is my most favourite item of legwear and I am very seldom without pantyhose, even under male clothes (not that I wear those very often). I also like thicker, opaque tights (what you Americans seem to refer to as tights lol) although those are for when it’s a little chillier and only with a short skirt or jumper dress.
Leggings are cool too.
However, there is nothing like the feeling of wearing good quality sheer to waist glossy tights under a nice fully-lined tight skirt with a pair of elegant high heels. I always get a little shiver of pleasure when I pull a nice pair of sheer, glossy tights on.

I’m a pantyhose girl. I love wearing pantyhose, especially sheer to waist. However there is nothing like the thrill of sliding silky stockings up your legs and hooking up garters. Then the sensation and experience of walking around or just wearing them for the day is like nothing else. You never forget you’re wearing stockings and garters and it’s wonderful.
Tights are less sheer pantyhose. I enjoy wearing them in black and colors to coordinate with an out fit.
Love my silky, sheer pantyhose stockings and tights. When I’m femme, I always show my legs and I never show them en femme without legwear.

Since I prefer dresses. My fav legwear is leggings then. My socks only go on my feet. While tights and panty hose I only wear with fancy dresses minus my Christmas dress. So leggings win the poll for me.

I am a tights or leggings gal. I like both and pick what to wear depending on the “formality” of the outfit. Right now I am dressed casually and wearing soft comfortable leggings. If I am dressed for a more formal setting, the tights come out.

My earliest ever experience in legwear was nylons with garter belt and I was amazed at how pleasurable a sensation upon my legs it gave me. It felt like I was being massaged and carressed on every inch of my legs with every step taken from that first time. Pantyhose came along and that fine silky sensation of the gusset effect against the rest of my body, has now become the most important part of my journey with feminine attire, and the first thing I don anytime I now indulge myself and crossdress. I’m sure you all can understand the difference it makes, nothing short of the euphoric waves that are not spoken of in most cases. This will raise some important points for some people who read these forums, although I have not read to date and seems to me that all the best things about en-femme are yours and yours alone!

Has to be Thigh high stockings with a garter / suspender belt. Always wear black having gone through various colours in the past. Seem to have lace tops on most of the ones I have at present. I have some jacquard-lace ones for the cooler weather.
My garter belts have multiple straps, my fav at the moment has 14. So sexy.

Thigh highs are my go-to legwear. But I don’t discriminate. I also have pantyhose, tights, gartered stockings, fishnets, leggings, knee highs, and ankle highs. And always an ankle bracelet.
Legwear was what first got me into cross dressing at 4 or 5 years old, based on pictures my grandmother had of me modeling a pair of black tights. I’ve never looked back. If I have my way, I’ll be buried wearing thigh highs when my time on the planet is done.

Thigh highs with suspender belt for me. I love them and would wear everyday if I could. I shave my legs which is a must for me
I even wear suspender belt with hold ups as I just love the sexy look. I realise that I may not look sexy to others as I look to myself but I just love them. They are also the main thing that makes me feel feminine
I do own normal tights as some skirts are just to short for suspenders lol

Happy Legwear Day to ALL…!!! Thigh highs have been my legwear of choice, if just only for the comfort, ease, and convenience of use. Panytyhose or tights, are what I purchased in my younger, earlier days of crossdressing, but I haven’t purchased a new pair of those in years. I prefer black either a dark opaque or a lacy pattern, which will match practically every outfit I own, plus they do a great job in disguising my “imperfect legs”….so thigh highs for me, are a win-win…!!!

My vote was for leggings, and if I had a second it would definitely be pantyhose. I love the way leggings feel and how they smooth everything out, and depending on the pair…lift my butt lol. I have many different pairs in all colors and I feel the most femme when wearing them with either flips or a cute pair of sandals. It’s such a comfy and girly outfit!!

It can be a toss up depending on my mood. I guess I would saY thighs first, sheer to waist hose, then skinny jeans and heels.

Great poll,looks like a pretty close race between stocking and pantyhose. I myself prefer pantyhose over stockings. Both make your legs look and feel good but I like a good control top to help give me a smooth look and feel.

For me it has always been pantyhose. I remember the first time I put a silky pair on and how it felt so fantastic!!!!!! I would put a pair of sheer to waist pantyhose and had a few leotards and it felt great, and the first time I shaved my legs and put a pair on, WOW…. LOL Even today as old as I am put them on after shaving my legs, still feels like the first time……….

I am totally in love with leggings right now. They are so comfortable and perfect for the coming cooler weather here in the NE US. My favorites are Lululemon Aligns. I just need to get some with pockets now!

There is no single answer, it tends to be seasonal.
When not forced to wear compression stockings, I will go bare legged in the summer, wear pantyhose or on occasion thigh highs in the cooler weather, and tights in the winter. If I’m not doing exercise classes, I’ve been known to wear tights instead of socks even in boy mode.
And leggings for me are a way to crossdress when I have a workman coming to the house.

Without a doubt it is thigh high stockings. I especially like them with a garter belt, but lace top hold ups are a close second. I have a particular dislike for pantyhose, especially when my wife wears them as they get in the way when I get under her dress.
This. Except I have no qualms with pantyhose, I just don’t currently have any. And as for my wife, she, rarely, if ever wears anything. She does have some leggings she’ll wear occasionally, usually she just wears jeans or women’s slacks. No stockings or pantyhose, except with a fancy dress, which is maybe once or twice per year.
To me though, thigh highs are the definitely the sexiest. I’ll even wear mine under my women’s jeans, although this is totally unnecessary.

I almost totally agree Raquel. When fully dressed I almost always wear thigh highs, some dresses demand pantyhose for modesty (yes, even at my age). In the winter I always wear tights under my boy jeans. I’ve also just got my first leather look leggings and I’m trying to work out a “look” with them.

Yeah, no discussion of legwear is complete without smooth legs. I have mine waxed every three to four weeks, but I hace shaved for years and have tried creams and IPL in the past.

This was super easy to answer as I’m a huge pantyhose fan. Absolutely love them and never understood why so many women including my wife hate them so much. The way they feel on freshly shaven legs, the way they make my legs look, just love them.

I never understood this either Ashley!! From the moment of putting them on to how they feel on my feet it’s just the most amazing feeling. Granted I have not had to work in them for several hours (out flight attendant sisters) but I love them. I could wear leggings everyday though!!

I answered thigh highs preferably with garter belt to hold them up. I like the feel, especially on shaved legs. They allow me access without having to fidget to get them up and down as pantyhose do when using the bathroom. I do like the feeling of pantyhose and tights though. I also like wearing leggings. I think it depends on the day and what I’m doing and going to wear.

I love shear stockings, but when I go bare legged, I find a nice anklet incredibly feminine. But in all cases, legs must be shaven – there is nothing like the feel of a flowing dress or sheer stockings on shaven legs.
