I’m sure there are lots of ladies out there like me who share a passion for shoes and boots? So the question of the day is what is your favorite brand of shoes and boots and most importantly, why?

To get the ball rolling if I’m looking for a unique or inspiring pair of shoes/boots then my goto brand is “irregular Choice” they are sooooooo cool. I recently went along to the Brighton shop to find out if I could get some new boots for a particular outfit. You can see how it all went HERE.

      Have fun everyone!

BORN or B.O.C, which is Born One Concept. They are stylish, great leathers, very comfortable and very good quality. They tend to be a bit pricey as you would expect, but out of 6 pairs, I may have bought only one that wasn’t on sale (on their own site or other stores)…

the shoes that i wear every day around the house are my Dansko (size 40) wedge 3 in sandal. they are very comfortable and wish i could were them in guy mode i like them so much. Now for a boot, I bought a pair of Bearpaw’s that are a 3.5 in wedge with fur on the outside of the shaft. They are the most comfortable boots i have ever worn including my guy boots that I use to wear for years.

For dressing up and having my feet look all sexy, any brand that catches my eye – i have several pair that are 4 to 5 in – scrappy high heels, sling backs, mules (Custom made), and pumps.

I have a few pairs of Dream Pairs ballet pumps, great around the house, but if I go out the house I tend to walk a few miles, even when in the office/lab, I do a couple of miles at lunchtime, so if not wearing walking boots, I wear ladies Ecco sneaker style boots.

For me I prefer Simply Vera boots. Super cute super comfy.  Shoes I like Nine West for comfort and style and for POP I like Sammitops. Not as comfortable but boy do they stand out.

For cool sexy retro shoes it has to be Pleaser, we have only three pair but all three would easily rank in the top 10% of our collection. Perhaps the sexiest pair amongst our 200+ collection would be a pair of black stilettos by Guess, lately I cant stop wearing those and I think my Pleasers are getting Jelly. I’d be remiss if I failed to mention Jessica Simpson shoes which are always sexy and stylish. Other honorable mentions; Calvin Klein, Nine West, Badgley Mischka.

I love heels. I’ve been wearing them since I was 4 and until I outgrew the the pairs I was borrowing at around 12 or 13. I began buying my own at 17. My first very own shoes was 6 pairs of platform wedges. I was so excited to get and wear them.

Then when I was 18, I began buying and wearing stiletto heels and pumps a lot when dressed fully en femme. I loved those shoes. I loved my platforms and pumps. Still do. They are all I wear. I don’t have a specific favorite brand. I buy and wear what ever I like regardless of the brand.

      Two categories for me…

Day to day wear:  Dansko. I love their clogs, sandals and booties. I can wear them anywhere and they are COMFORTABLE!

Dress shoes:  Vince Camito heels. Beautiful and comfortable.

Of course I’m always willing to look at anything cute!

Pretty much any brand that has shoes I want…and doesn’t come in my size. I have really big feet.

Hi, If you do have large feet the Pleaser USA shoes can go up to a USA17 UK14 in some styles but the majority do go up to a SA 15 UK12.

        Hope that helps?

As I wear a size 16, my choices are extremely limited.  So, it’s limited to Pleaser, Fowt, and Now, Farylrobin.  Oh well!

As a CD living in Brazil, all my shoes have been purchased from local brands. The brand I have purchased more pairs so far is Schutz and I think they sell abroad as well.

If I were in UK, Europe or America, surely I’d try many other brands like Aldo or even Christian Louboutin. Being a UK 8/EU 41/US 10, the biggest issues I may face are price tag, how to match a new pair with clothes and how comfortable/stylish it is, considering my preference for high heels (4+ inch high).

By the way, I lived in Bournemouth (not too far from Brighton) and the video brought me great memories. The shoes I liked most were those red shiny pumps.

      xoxo
