My list is small, just supermarket (store) and restaurant from the list above. However, I am stealthy about my dressing in public and wear female clothes that make me blend in unnoticed.

    • #401801

Blushes. Have done all of the above. Not mentioned above that I havent done is fly on a airplane and go through TSA.

    • #401807

      Fun poll.

Store/Mall, restaurant, hotel, and beach for me.  Tomorrow i’ll add voting to the list but, like Michela, i’m a ‘blender’.

    • #401846

Hotel, shops, bars/clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, promenade, pier, parks, beaches, country lanes, village post office, Carol singing in an office and a mall, costume parties, and my back therapist.

I have not gone to any of the places listed in the poll. But I have driven my car and walked around my neighborhood.

    • #401939

from that list, only hotels.  I def have to get out more often 🙁

    • #401944

I have been to a number of places on the list but am not sure I find it as exhilarating as many others. It was just something I did with friends and not for the sheer pleasure or fun to be out while dressed. I would have enjoyed myself just as much if we had found a garden or quiet place to sit, have some wine and food, and just visit. Not sure if that is at all to my related to my personality while being dressed, an inherent fear of something happening/being outed, or that I am just comfortable being dressed and being with others that are accepting — probably a combination of them all.

i got dressed one day. it was nice out so i decided to go on a motorcycle trip. i rode about an hour and a half to booth bay harbor, maine. i walked around the shops and ate at a restaurant. i rode back and stopped at cumberland farms to get a drink. i noticed this guy looking at me as i went in the store. when i came out he was by my bike. he asked what kind it was. i told him and he said his father use to have one like that. we chatted a bit and then i went home. over all a pretty good day.

I have been to a cemetery to walk around and enjoy the solitude, trees, grass and feel the air around my legs ……….and up my skirt ;).  The warmth of the sun on my back is wonderful.   There’s a small section of children’s graves I like to visit and place flowers .  A few times, I sat and read them a story……………..no matter what the story, I always cry at the end……………happy to be a girl reading stories to kids……………….karley

I think woods and parks will feature on most girls’ lists!

    • #402199

Courageous people here venturing out. Have had conflicts with shopping for clothes and shoes en drab. Might say I am closeted. Admire those that present as female very well, and encouraged by their perspective. To each their own.

    • #402216

i have done many of the places on the list.  Though most were in connection with my weekends away with a CDTS group in a friendly town.  My SO does not approve of my dressing though she does tolerate me going out to CDTS parties and going away for the odd weekend to be with the girls which is wonderful and i am thankful for what i get.  Of course this is all pre-virus.  i hope to get back to a bit of dressing soon.  i also have been for walks in the park, out to buy gas and to parties.  This is a fun poll and makes you think about what else should be added to the list.

      hugs,

My list is very small compared to everyone else.

The biggest venture was at work.  I used to work for a non profit organization, and I went into work on a Sat., knowing that the chances of anyone showing up would be next to nil.  So I brought a complete change of outfit, and changed in the office.  I was working away all dressed up when I heard the front door open then close.  I quickly jumped up, took a quick look around the corner and here comes the ceo walking down the hallway.

I didn’t have time to get out of Wendy’s clothes, so I put on my drab clothes over Wendy’s clothes.  It is not easy putting on jeans over a skirt.  Lucky I wore a big fleece sweater, so I was able to put that easily over top (it covered the lumps of the bra too).  However, the white blouse I wore had a bow on it.

The ceo walks into my office, says morning and we chatted for abit.  When he left, I then realized that bow from my blouse was sticking out of the top of the sweater, and the only way for him not to see it was if he was blind.

I then quickly went to the bathroom to change out of Wendy’s clothes and back into drab.

The only other time was taking a short drive to pick up my wife from the University after her evening classes.

      Hi Rachel,

Lots of places.  My very first public outing was at a fundraising event held in the local firehall attended by about a hundred people. I sure got a lot of stares (I have some photos posted of it).  After that luncheon, I went to a Chamber of Commerce meeting.  I been on a two-day drive to the west coast of Canada twice in the last two years fully en femme, so had to stop at gas stations, places to eat, etc. (and of course a two-day drive back home – a wonderful experience).  Another favorite public outing is walking the dog (twice a day since my heart attack four years ago).  I’ve never been bothered by anyone but then again I definitely don’t overdo my dressing, I dress casually to fit in easily.  And much to my wife’s displeasure, I pass for female even when dressed in drab. A couple of weeks ago, she told me she doesn’t want to go out to a restaurant with me because the waitresses always address me by a female pronoun.  And it bugs her that I don’t mind.   Stay safe, stay healthy, All the Best, Hugs, Krista.

I went to Ulta 2 months ago to have my hair colored, then afterward went out widow shopping.  On the way home I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things.  The following week I went to a nearer mall and did more window shopping.

My first time out fully dressed was just driving around in my car a couple of hours and getting out several times in places I thought were safe, here I could be seen but not touched. It was scary but very exciting.

Then my first big outing in the real world was  a college Halloween Party. I had to walk from my house to the car, then from the car to where the party was being held. I had to walk a long way in the dark, past a lot of people, then into the well it building where a lot of people were milling about. Then into an elevator with several other people. Very scary but very exciting too. The party was great. I had an awesome time in my femme attire. I also met other CD’s I became friendly with and partied with often. Great night. I went out often after that, even if it was just for drives and short errands.

Then after partying and dressing as often as I could for a couple of years, I met my wife and shortly after introduced her to Patty. We became good friends and often went out often as girlfriends. Our first time out was to a mall to shop for and get more clothes. I was scared. Never did anything like that on that scale. Getting out of the car was a huge deal and took a lot of courage building. There was a lot of people nearby. I was petrified walking from the car to the mall entrance.

I was too scared to go in and too scared to turn back, knowing many people had seen me. Once I was in I was trapped. No escape. She led me in. The place was mobbed. I was sure we were getting looks. Were they looking at a pretty girl and a guy in pantyhose, heels and dress or two pretty sexy and leggy girls? The first thought petrified me, the second excited me. Between the two I managed to keep going.

Once inside a store and beginning to see all the wonderful clothes I was going to get, my fear subsided somewhat and my excitement built. I even used woman’s dressing rooms and rest rooms for the first time. If I was dressed as a girl and looked like a girl, that was the only possible choice, awkward and strange as it may have been.

Every time I would be out of town and in a hotel, I would  take along my Patty attire and always dressed and went out where I felt it was safe. Sometimes it was only just a walk around the hotel and a drink at the bar or snack at the hotel restaurant.

There was the college parties, girl’s night out with my wife, then later CD meeting and parties. Sometimes in private houses and sometimes in bars and restaurants.

Unfortunately with this Covid 19 virus lurking about I haven’t been doing any of that. Would love to start again. I really miss it. My going out these days is pretty much restricted to car rides and getting out here and there.

I’ve only had a few public outings. My first dressed full en fem was a 4am 20 min walk at a local walking track. My second was to a small park for my CD/TG support group picnic. I didn’t wear my wig, but wore a denim skirt and lace overlay top. My third was a shopping trip to Janet’s Closet south of Detroit. I also attend my CD/TG support groups meetings dressed full en fem, but these are in a semi-private place. I also attended a semi-private party dressed fully en fem.

I dress everywhere. But I dress different from other crossdressers. I dress like a man, look like a man, no makeup, no wigs, and I keep my big beard on. I wear what I like and try not to look female in any shape.

      But that is just me.

    • #424467

I’ve mainly dressed at a bar, but I’ve also been dressed in a restaurant, hotel, and a Halo convention. I’ve also dressed in a crossdressing support group.

    • #424893

There isn’t anywhere that I can think of that I don’t go dressed en femme. Once I gained the confidence to go out dressed en femme, the sky’s the limit. Occasionally I do get a little nervous about being dressed as a female  I remember being at a New Year’s in Las Vegas where I was wearing a floor length gown with high heels being among the many other girl’s who were dressed in their gowns and I wondered if I could blend in with them?.But once I got off the elevator and went into the casino, my fears disappeared when I realized that I looked like any other girl that was celebrating the new year. I joined in the celebration and had a great time sipping champagne and dancing in the club called Eye Candy in Mandalay Bay. By midnight, I had made friends with some of the ladies who were celebrating with me and we continued to celebrate into the early morning hours. Truly it was a night to remember

There’s something that I hadn’t mentioned about that night. On my way back to my room, I met a man in the elevator and we were alone as he door closed and I pushed the button for the floor where my room was. He said Same floor as me. We struck up a conversation and he invited me to go to his room for a night cap. I accepted his offer and went to his room with him. After having a few drinks he kissed me and I kissed him back. One thing led to another and in the morning I woke up in his room  in his bed with a king size hangover and a big smile on my face Truly a night that I’ll never forget

On the list I checked: mall, hotel, restaurant, bar/nightclub, beauty salon, beach and casino.

I am super comfortable in my fem side and simply enjoy my Sandy time doing what a typical female would do on a day to day basis such as food shopping, clothes, the bank or drug store, museum and anyplace you would see women.

Don’t really have a desire to work as Sandy though I have spent several days working in fem though out of the office on the laptop in a coffee shop or restaurant.

A couple things I have done that might be considered unusual for a CD is-

Test drive and almost buy an upscale car. Full fem wearing dress and 4″ heels on a 6 spd manual.

Shooting in a dress and heels

      Happy Holidays Ladies!

      Sandy
