Hello darlings, sisters, friends, members, and all a’y’all,
This is your Managing Ambassador, here with a Public Service Announcement.
I know this will come as a shock to you, but we have trolls that come here, who are not in search of chaste and enticing conversations about crossdressing and going out in public.
While the staff works hard to remove these undesirables, there is sometimes a time lag between when they make an account on the site, and when we can remove them.
I’m going to share with you some common-sense tips on dealing with people you don’t know on this site, and on the internet.
First off, every link that is part of our site is safe to go to, whether it be other parts of our site, TransgenderHeaven, or our advertisers.
NOT every link that is posted by a member in chat, forums, or groups, however, can be trusted with that same assurance. You have to use your common sense to determine if you should follow any links that are off-site.
The same goes for public and private messages. One of our trolls is an email spammer who makes an account and sends a lot of private messages. She will compliment you and ask you to contact her via her email address. When you do that, you will again get compliments, and she will ask you to help her transfer some funds to the US so that she can retire here. In case you missed all of this, it’s an internet scam, at best she’s going to ask you for money, and at worst it’s an international money laundering scheme she’s trying to get you involved in. Just this last week, a member sent an email to the email spammer I was speaking of, and sent me a note asking me to ban her from the site so she couldn’t contact her anymore… well, by that point, she HAD been banned from the site, but because they’d shared email addresses, you guessed it, there’s nothing I can do about that… we can only stop them from sending messages on the site.
If you contact anyone (including trolls on this site) via email, phone, Twitter, etc, they have your contact information, and we can no longer help you at that point.
There are lots of undesirables on the internet, and this site isn’t immune to them. Sometimes it takes us a few hours to find and remove them.
If you are contacted by someone on this site in a manner that you aren’t comfortable with, please report the post (there’s a report button on every post) or contact a staff member, preferably a manager, and we will investigate and deal with the issue as appropriate.
This is why we are so adamant about not sharing your personal contact information in the public areas of the site, and we will remove it immediately if we see it. This includes public chat, forums, groups, profiles, and public messages on your wall. These are all searchable from the internet search engines.
Private messages or private chats (for Duchesses and Princesses) are private and are not searchable from the internet. (If you need to share these personal details so that you can meet someone you know and trust, or such.)
Feel free to send me a private message, or use the “contact the managing ambassador” link, and I promise I will get back to you when I can, almost always within 12 hours, but more likely sooner than that.

Always great advice Billejay! Thanks for keeping the site as safe as possible/it’s up to each user to do their part by being vigilant and by REPORTING any suspicious posts. We can’t help if we don’t know! The report you make may help save a fellow member avoid being hurt. It takes a village

Good advice…
This is always sound advice, thanks for sharing and reminding us what we can do to stay safe on the site.
Thanks for this Billiejay, we all need a regular reminder of internet security. Scammers don’t mind failing over many attempts, but we only have to fail once. That’s why they keep trying. Stay safe y’all.
Personally,
I’ve found my OWN way after reaching conclusions about how to handle my life and how to deal with situations CONCERNING CD and MY life.
I’ve made peace with everyone in my life. EVERYONE in my life KNOWS about MY CD, and I even go into WORK as Valerie full time.
CDH has been amazing format as far as reaching for answers, and between CDH and an amazing bunch of family and friends, I’m on my own now.
Thanks to everyone! You’ve been great!
I’ve discovered VALERIE.
Thank you Billiejay I’m glad I join this site we learn every day from all of you I wish I could express in other words my gratitude that on any questions or doubts about whom we might interact you can help us in ways we might get scammed again thank you for your article. Auroras Livingfem
