The explosive residue search was a total bust!

Sounds to me like she wanted to cope a fill! I’m not out to anyone and probably never will be due to family life (spouse, kids, grand kids, and work, community status). I enjoy my Darlene time when ever I have travel so if I have to endure a little extra scrutiny of my carry-on bag I’ll be all in. This trip I went to a transformation service (a…[Read more]

I recently traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast (USA). On this trip I decided to take my forms for the first time and thought I would share my experience. I placed each form in a zip lock bag and packed them in my carry-on bag. On the west-east leg my carry-on bag went through the TSA scanner with no further scrutiny. On the eas…[Read more]

I started buying my own wardrobe just a couple of years ago after i found CDH. Growing up I only had brothers, so the the only opportunities for trying things on were my mom’s and grandma’s clothes. I married young and would try on my wife’s clothes when I had the chance, but most things didn’t fit well. After finding CDH I got uo the nerve to g…[Read more]

I had a Honda v twin shaft 500 cc shaft drive until my first son was born, then opportunities to ride became few and far between. It sat in the garage for several years until I finally sold it. I never went down on it, but had a few close calls with cars not seeing me. Never got the bug for a road bike again, and switched to ATV’s for off road jaunts.

I agree with Elizabeth Montgomery, and of course from the same era the list would have to include Barbara Eden and Linda Evans. Showing my age here, but can’t forget Andy Griffith’s line to Barbara when she did a guest appearance on his show: “Nature has been good to you, real good!”

There’s a lot of great responses, but I’ll add in two with Oregon roots. Gretchen Corbett played the lawyer in the Rockford Files and Lindsay Wagner played the bionic woman. Corny shows but both of them were really cute, but never over glammed up. Gretchen totally rocked a yellow bikini in one of the Columbo movies.

If you take forms, I would love to hear how it goes with security. I have to fly later in August and I am thinking of placing my forms in ziplock bags in my carry-on bag.

My first and only time out dressed, I had just gotten a make over at MAC’S. It was later in the evening near Christmas during Covid, and I ventured out in girl jeans, wig, forms, camisole, lady’s knit sweater, and face mask. I went to a one stop shopping store and picked up a few things, then headed for the self check out. At the self check ou…[Read more]

I still get nervous in the womens department. I don’t get so nervous about the sales people, they are there to make money, and I’ve never had an issue at the cash register. It’s the other customers that I get most concerned about. It’s pretty intimidating standing in the bra section trying to find the right size and style with others milling ab…[Read more]

Gotta love the Kinks, & Ray Davies is still at it at 78 years old! And we can’t forget Lola!

That must be a treasured memory! If I had a choice of a 4th it would be Danny Gatton. He never achieved quite fame as the other 3, but was an amazing picker. I took lessons for awhile didn’t get very far. Maybe I’ll pick it back up when I get to retirement.

Chet Atkins, Les Paul, and Mark Knopfler with their guitars. Then I’d shut up and listen in total awe! The Atkins/Knopfler album Neck and Neck is pure artistry.

Some you can leave zipped and do the overhead slink. Others you can zip in front and then spin it around. I put the forms in after the dress goes on. Side zippers I can usually get unzipped. Rear zippers I spin or overhead slink to get off, after the forms come out. Maybe that’s one advantage we have over GGs!
Darlene, I do relate to the blurt out and drive thru incidents. Your win reads as a very satisfying moment! Yours truly hadn’t yet enjoyed a makeover and the experiences afterwards. I have, though, gone out more than several times as Connie. Two ladies group galas were most rewarding and clock- free. Strength in numbers, very supportive hotel…[Read more]
My current home situation doesn’t give me an opportunity to go out right now, but I’m trying to arrange a visit to a transformation service on a business trip later this summer. I’ll be sure to post on that if it happens.
