First up, thanks for the article – it was a great read. Secondly, this part really resonated with me: “…When I go too long without dressing she asks me, “When are you going to dress again?”” That has happened to… Read more»

Fantastic! It’s just like that on the 1st time for most of us I’m sure. As we do it more often however it really becomes so easy you don’t have the nerves but maybe some excitement. It’s so natural for… Read more»

Hi everyone, my name is Susan, and this is my story so far.
I think I was a normal little boy originally, quieter than most but more than a little introverted and I must have been around 13 or 14 when I first

Hi ya from another Canberra lady!
There are not many of us around here so the more the merrier. Once lockdown ends, let’s get together with a friend of mine for a chat. Sound cool?
Take care!

Hola!
I’m on Discogs and trying to get rid of my old collection. It owns me and not the other way round.
Would any of you gals be interested in a 5% discount on any items I’ve listed purchased through my personal email? Postage is at cost already…..

BTW – I love all formats (including 8-track) but don’t stream.

I’m a biker through and through. Period.
All you need is a slightly different set of kit and you’re off!
And some of those ladies outfits are rather tasty looking.
’nuff said.

Thanks for sharing Sally, a great read. I guess ‘the talk’ is different for all of us who have done it, but in the end, at least it’s all out there and you can both move forward in whichever way results.

Absolutely Rebecca – just get out there and don’t go over the top!
However, having said that, I always try to look good so if I do get attention/looks (which is often!) I hope I’m just making people jealous and making them want to try harder. 🙂
Wonderful story Susan. Thanks for sharing. I have never known a Susan who was anything but a delightful person. You are in good company.
Clara
Wonderful story Susan.
Delightful story Susan. Inspirational actually. I hope all goes well as you continue to blossom into the woman whom you have known in your own heart for so long.
Kindly,
Charlene
Thank you everyone! Part 2 coming soon I hope – things HAVE moved forward. Hugs.
Thanks for sharing this with us. You are so very brave.
Cheers,
Jenni
Thanks Jenni! It’s a great journey to be on.
Good story. I can relate to some of the threads. I got into my mothers wardrobe at age 11. I am now retired so I have been creating a female wardrobe for myself on Amazon. Wife found out a while ago getting limited acceptance. Told my older sister and she was a psychologist and is very accepting. Last of all, my eyes will not glaze over if you share your IT story with me.! Worked as a Programmer for 35 years in ancient .1980’s based programming languages

Well done girl. Hope everything goes well for you in the future. Hugs
Lovely story girl. Love that yellow dress you’ve on. You look feminine and glad your wife is supportive. Hiugs
Susan,
You know, so many of us on this site probably feel that we could have written the same story. Sometimes I think that we are all from the same family/background. When I read your story, it made me reflect on my own. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Vanessa
Thanks Vanessa. It does seem to resonate similarly with others, for sure.
BTW – aren’t we all descended from Charlemagne?
What a wonderful profile. I love to read about peoples journeys. Work? Wow! That would be amazing for anyone. We all know we want to be on that journey and isn’t it so much better being out and about as the real you. Best wishes in your journey x
Thanks Carla – I’m really looking forward to what the future may bring.
An absolute pleasure to read your story hon, you are moving ahead in leaps and bounds with such a wonderfully positive attitude. All credit to you hon, also I think that a big hug and kiss to your SO for her attitude to the transition, behind every great man who wants to be a great woman is a great woman
Wishing you all happiness
Love Gail
Thanks Gail – much appreciated!
Hi there. Yours is a very cool story. I have my collection and strangely I have never felt the urge to purge as it were. I love my girly stuff especially my 250 odd pairs of women’s panties. Those I do wear everyday. Bras maybe 20 only worn occasionally but I’d never purge them. My breast forms will be with me for life. Glad you have come to a point where you are comfy en femme.
Wonderful story, Susan. I remember trying on one of my mom’s skirts and slip at the age of 13. It felt amazing. I didn’t understand why I initially did it, nor why it just felt……”right.”
One of the things that I see constantly over and over again about these origin stories is how “right” the feeling feels. Like, it should feel foreign to us, but it doesn’t.
That “rightness” is telling us something we don’t understand on the surface, but our brain knows instantly.
It took my until my late 40’s until I stopped repressing my feminine feelings and accept myself and my feminine side.
Susan,
I applaud you for having the courage to be true to yourself. I am trying to find that same courage.
I wish you well,
Vanessa
