Definitely a curse but my own opinion is not going to make me stop dressing. Life would have been easier without the desires, the secrecy, the spending, the hiding, the sadness of not being able to freely dress in public…. Read more»

Sorry if this is a repost. I don’t remember how I came across this article. I open links from emails and forums and maybe read it weeks later. Just like tights, knee high boots was originally men’s garment.

Try walking, a lot. And if possible, pick up running. There are apps called, “Couch to 5k” that I used and works. The strength in legs will help with heels and all day wearing.

Polls are fun and there’s new members all the time.
Sutekina replied to the topic How did you learn to walk in heels? in the forum Crossdresser Heaven Polls 10 months ago
My maximum height was 3-inch heels and only for a short time before my ankles and back started to hurt. I rarely wore them because it wasn’t comfortable. I took up running and got myself up to 10k marathons after a couple of years. Then I found a cute pair of 3″ sandals I wanted to try (from a giveaway box for students). I was amazed because I was…[Read more]

Check out photo sessions geared toward crossdressers. They do makeup and have their own wardrobe. Get pictures in different outfits. Done services also offer chaperoned outings.

I prefer heels but Margo in Despicable Me. White shirt, plaid skirt and sneakers. Feminine but practical.
Sutekina replied to the topic Why do cross dresser, androgynous and transgender people get linked into one gro in the forum General Chat "Life as it Goes On" 10 months ago
You are transgender, regardless of emotional or biological factors. You are transgender when your expression differs from your appearance. It should be based on chromosomes/gonads, but our society has hangups on appearance and presentation. Whatever other heading you might be called, it falls under the umbrella term, transgender. Heterosexual…[Read more]
Sutekina replied to the topic Should I talk to a therapist? in the forum Relationship Advice 10 months ago
Totally agree. I’m not interested in changing but really enjoying the conversations with my therapist. It’s like finding treasure in your life.
I don’t believe it will fix you, but to discover “cause and effect” is fascinating for me. I accept myself more, after therapy.Sutekina replied to the topic Do you consider crossdressing to be part of LGBTQ+? in the forum Transgender Friendly Places and Support Groups Around the World 10 months ago
Therein lies the crux (not necessarily a problem). The T is on a spectrum. Take Facebook for example: gender started with several identities. It wasn’t long before this list expanded to 99 identities (or so) and then became limitless (you type your own). Some people somewhere on the spectrum would be insulted or appalled to be identified as…[Read more]
Sutekina replied to the topic what was your first experience with pantyhose? in the forum Personal Crossdressing Stories 1 years ago
When I was 12, I was curious too, but it felt weird and I didn’t like it. I don’t remember my mom wearing anything more than trouser socks. But my sister wore them from a young age and then got into aerobics in college. So there were pantyhose and leotards in the drawer. Never touched it again for several years. Then I was curious again but…[Read more]

It depends entirely on the fitness level of your legs. Size is easy to figure out. Go to any shoe store and get someone to size your feet. Those gizmos have readings for both male and female. They will tell you the male size, but you look and see your female fit. Getting the right fit is tricky because depending on where you buy, sizes could…[Read more]
Sutekina replied to the topic How to pair stockings with dresses and heels in the forum Fashion Beauty & Makeup 2 years ago
Pinterest is a great way to see outfit combos. I recently searched “black dress white tights” and “white dress black tights” and liked the look on some. It’s not unusual to go monochrome, like same colour tights, dress and shoes. I remember seeing an actress with yellow tights, white shoes and an uncommon coloured dress (can’t remember the colour)…[Read more]

I used to hate these but I tried it once and now I love them. I don’t have slender legs, but in the slit, they do look elongated and appealing. I didn’t change my wardrobe but have a couple pieces when I’m in the mood. I’m considering a hip high slit for fun.

A great book that almost nobody will read is, “Exclusion and Embrace, Revised and Updated: A Theological Exploration of Identity, Otherness, and Reconciliation,” by Miroslav Volf. He said, “Let us cast out exclusion and embrace those who do not fall within our narrowing circle of comfort.”
Another book that all ministers should read is, “Is Your…[Read more]

Thank God, you were lead to a place of healing. Kudos to you for not giving up either.
I met a grandma, who for the last 3 decades thought she was lost and going to hell because after a divorce, the Catholic church excommunicated her. Amazing how such crimes against humanity continues to this day. Absolutely nothing in the Bible about God…[Read more]

I’m a minister as well and I would have answered the same as the church you mentioned, “…didn’t want to explain or seem to agree with my selection of clothing style especially to the kids.” That will probably not be a popular response, but we can’t kid ourselves and allow any and every expression on the planet inside the sanctuary. If the c…[Read more]

Get your friend to look at sensory challenges in children. There’s such a thing as seams that irritate their skin. There was a time before leggings that kids had to wear their clothing inside-out so the seams don’t rub on their skin.
I know that it doesn’t address the psych part of dressing, but it’s a starting place for your friend to…[Read more]
