Yes! Indeed I do smile on occasion 😀 Of course, I smile a lot in person but not so much in photos. I've never been able to produce a toothy smile as I'm just built that way and I never really felt it was among my best features anyway. This photo makes me happy, though, because it appropriately captures my giddiness at being among friends. I thank my friend Cristy Garcia for taking this candid of me during the VC shindig in the 15th floor executive suite. I enjoyed many conversations with friends like Cristy, Jill, Marie, Lisa and Ann, Kandi, Nora, Cristina, Elaine, Jenn, Leanna, Bree, Melanie, Robyn, Karyn, Jeny, Meghana, and so many others. Among the subjects we discussed what the role of Keystone and how it and other events help connect people. They serve as a kind of gateway through which one may emerge from a self-imposed exile to a place to freely and safely express ourselves. From there, we ride the wave for awhile, using the venue in different ways, but mainly to connect with friends. Eventually, we come to appreciate the fact that you don't need such a venue to connect physically; that you can arrange to meet for coffee, at a bar, or go shopping whenever and wherever you want. In order to do that, though, most of us need that kick in the pants. Mine was Southern Comfort Conference in 2006. From there I gradually learned to venture out to smaller, local events and even meet friends individually. Still, I must admit that going to a large event is a great pleasure because I get to see people I haven't seen in ages as well as make new acquaintances. I'm a guy. I like women. I like the company of women, I'm married to a woman, and I like to dress up like a woman now and then because it's fun. For me, crossdressing is an art form and an excuse to meet like-minded folks, not the expression of gender dysphoria. I should note that my photos are not doctored up with apps or significantly modified using Photoshop, though I do adjust color, contrast, and that sort of thing. It is important to me that my photos are genuine, with wrinkles, pores, and all. If they aren't genuine, I'm fooling myself and others. I take this art form pretty seriously, so if you don't have much of a profile, no photos, or your photos are obviously fake or heavily photoshopped, I will probably not respond to a friend request. I'm not here to indulge sexual fantasies, talk about fetishes, or discuss what sort of intimates I wear to work (I don't). My hope is to find people who are interested in discussing "The Craft," or the art of crossdressing. I'm also keen to ponder the nature of sexuality and gender, fashion, and makeup techniques. However, I always try to respond to correspondence - we should all help each other out. I enjoy engaging with anyone, frankly! Alexandra your facial expression shows the joy and compassion felt by the thoughts of acquaintances and friends. The joy of being around so many ladies loving their life and sharing there stories with a special kind of love. That is what I felt from you. It was my pleasure to have made your acquaintance. Love. Janice.

You look very pretty Alexandra! And you have a pretty “candid” smile. Just look at actresses candid photos. Toothy grins usually look fake. I’ll take an authentic demure smile over a bright fake smile every day. 😉
