I photographed a young lady for her high school graduation photos, and I use the high museum in Atlanta as the backdrop. I couldn’t resist taking the shot. “ up up and away. Diane is here to save the day.”
3:30am and tipsy after my first time going out dressed! Apparently, I talked the bartender out of his captain’s hat!

I love love love this! So inspiring!
Thank you, Emma. I consider you a close friend, so that means a lot to me.
It only gets easier. Hopefully you will be calm the next time and just get to express and enjoy your female time. So happy for you
Thank you, Jackie. I realize now that there really is little to fear. But it’s the kind or realization that comes from actually doing it. I truly believe that, for my next public outing, I will approach it with anticipation rather than fear. And that will make it all the more fun.
Exactly, and a glass of wine doesn’t hurt either.
Awesome…so great to hear about this major milestone, Angela. So happy for you – thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Mona. Kind words are always more heartening when they come from someone you admire. And I’ve been a big fan of yours from the very first day I joined CDH.
Well done Angela, onwards and upwards till the next time out,
Hugs Rozalyn X
Thank you, Rozalyn. Onwards and upwards it is! I’m already planning my next time out, working on the location, outfit, etc.
It’s wonderful to hear of your success of being out in public for the first time! That is huge! It’s such a scary/wonderful experience all at the same time. I’m glad you made it happen and I’m sure it will be more of an everyday happening from now on. It gets to be more enjoyable as you go. Thank you for sharing! Take care.
It is huge. A big step for me in my crossdressing journey. And it turned out to be more wonderful and far less scary than I thought it would be.
Congrats Angela! You look super for a first time out. I’m so happy you got to experience that thrill. It took me about a half dozen outings until I started feeling really comfortable but, as that new confidence builds, you will find yourself able to have many, many more exciting, wonderful experiences. Enjoy this new stage of your dressing journey. And I agree – the experiences and input from many gals here at CDH help convince me to go out in public and I am so glad I did. You will be too.
Fiona
That’s all very encouraging, Fiona. Thank you. I fully expect that as I continue to you out in public, the fear factor will recede and the fun factor will increase.
How wonderful Angela – you did it, and are looking great while doing it! Congrats – and best wishes for many more!
Thank you, Kris. Looking forward to doing it again — already starting to plan it.
I am so glad that you were so successful in your ‘coming out’. You look great!
Thank you, zeezee. As I write this, I’ve also gone out in public as Angela to run some errands. Such a fun experience!
So wonderful! What a way to greet the world as Angela. I’m just getting to look at all your beautiful pictures and reading your comments. So nice and genuine. B
Thank you, Brianna. I Iove getting compliments, especially from friends like you.
