When I first began going out, I had a huge bucket list of things I wanted to do. I often chickened out but eventually I got to do all those things. It’s funny though. As you cross things off your bucket list, other things seem to end up on it.
it never seems to end, but the adventures and experiences are amazing.
Oh I still chicken out. Two trips ago I wanted to go to a bar/restaurant that I had been to before. I walked past several times and couldn’t go in. I walked in the other direction instead, and came across a bar that was having a drag show. Talk about dumb luck!! It was almost as if it was meant to be that I shouldn’t go in to the restaurant I usually went to, which helped me find something even more fun and different!!

Absolutely!! No pressure at all, and very easy to relax and enjoy the moment. There was an article posted here about being more mindful and enjoying the moment, which I never really did because my anxiety while dressed always started off super high. I should find that article and give a special thanks, because it was so true!! Easier said than done of course; I guess it just takes some experience

Great photo! You look awesome! And I totally feel you on the preoccupation. My first time out I was so hyper-selfconscious that all I could think about was getting through it. Trying to actually enjoy the things around me were highly secondary. In any case, I made it through and sounds like you did too. It’s been easier and easier every time I do it, but I can’t say I’m entirely “comfortable” with it yet. I’m really happy that you were able to do it!! Congrats!
