Working with the timer can be challenging. Using a remote usually yields better results, but at the end, what matters the most is how all elements of the image work together in showing who we are, with different emotions and different looks. 🙂
I’ve twisted an ankle trying to hurry in my 10-second window…lol. Maybe we should have one day when we post only FHV style photos to show that not every picture has a happy ending… I generally snap 15 to get 5 or 6 respectable ones that turn into 2-3 worth sharing. This is much better than what it used to be. Past trial and error have given me a head start on what might work… Thanks for the kind endorsement.
Hi Brina! This pic reminds me of what I do during everyone of my photo shoots. I hook up my phone to a JBL speaker and play my favorite R&B and Pop Soul tunes and dance away in between my pictures I’m taking all by myself here at our dream home. The acoustics in the kitchen where there’s a big tile floor are both perfect for dancing in between pics!

I’m country at heart, though I was listening to Heart at the time… Love the ballad bands of the 80s and 90s, classic rock, and even some bubblegum pop.
I walk best in heels with trekking poles…dancing and swinging my hips in heels…ain’t gonna happen! But you are obviously having fun with it “…swaying to the music…”
