On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.

You look different, have you lost weight?
Hi Jackie – I’ve lost about 15 pounds since the beginning of the year. Doing the keto diet on and off (yeah, I know it’s trendy but it does work, although it’s not recommended over the long term). Anyway, thanks for noticing, girlfriend! Hoping to lose another 10 lbs but it’s been a struggle, what with Covid-19 stay-at-home stress combined with easy refrigerator access. What’s a girl to do…weight loss is a constant struggle.

I am on Keto too, but it is not working due to my daily bottle of wine even though I bike 23 miles a day too 7 days a week. I have lost 7 lbs but need to lose 18 more. Congratulations and keep it up. You are looking good

Mona, it’s great to see you back. I’m so lucky my kids are 45 and 42 and have been grown, FSU educated, and gone for many many years Thank God! Those kids kept me in the poor house with cars, insurance, car repairs, top of the line clothes, books, tuition, places to live near campus, food, etc. etc. etc. I did everything for them my parents didn’t do for me so they wouldn’t ever live in a car and steal lunch meat from the local grocery store to survive. Wow Scarlett, that sounds epic and a lot to have went through. Mona i dont see your part that Scarlett mentioned but i hope all is well. I have grown up kids to in early 20 ‘s and it has its challenges with a marriage collapsed. Tough times ahead so hearing other stories can sometimes inspire us to keep going. X
