Ah yes, the 60s, a time when massive societal changes took place in America, also an era of great sounding music. I just recently watched a movie about The Beatles. Most significant event for me? When that letter came from the U.S. Government in 1966, and it started out with “greetings.” One year after that letter, I found myself in the steaming-hot jungles of South Viet Nam. My generation was permanently split, by two opposing political opinions. Today’s military is all-volunteer and much better paid.
