Elegance is an attitude, isn't it? Sure, but it's also a matter of focus and practice. There's a learning curve there, which definitely requires hands-on experience, trial and error and some lucky discoveries too. Yet, it's a wonderful and thoroughly fulfilling journey. Oh, the thrill of dressing! This is another scene from my recent dress-up weekend at a lovely, yet affordable, hotel in a quiet little town nearby. As soon as I got to my room, lugging suitcases packed with women's clothes and accessories, the "don't disturb" sign went up on the door. I spent the weekend changing outfits, wigs and accessories, mixing and matching, applying makeup, strutting through the room in heels and occasionally taking a sip of wine or coca-cola, while also eating some light snacks in ladylike fashion, so I wouldn't mess up my lipstick or (even worse) scatter crumbs over my pretty clothes. As I leaned over the table to control the snacking situation, my pearls were dangling deliciously, and my clothes were delightfully hugging my figure or, if unbuttoned, draping gorgeously. Some things went really well: e.g. foundation (it completely covered my freshly-shaven "beard shadow," making my face and neck so soft and feminine to the lens). Fake lashes also went surprisingly well and had an amazing transformative effect. And changing wigs was a lot of fun too, although my blonde bob cut is the only true Bianca cut, after all. Some things were less successful, to put it mildly, but that's how we learn and make progress, right? My eye-shadow, for instance, was assuming racoon allures at some point, so I had to redo it. Also my blush got out of hand, resembling the glare of molten lava rather than a ladylike cosmetic intervention. Well, I had to fix things as i went along. Besides, some photos came out a little blurry (this one included) but that might be just as well, as I'm not ready yet to present my feminine visage in sharp focus. I could write about the whole experience in copious detail, documenting my one day and two evenings spent in pink fog, but then again... actually, I thought I might write an article about it, should any of you girls find it a potentially interesting read. Hugs & kisses to all, xxx Bianca

I liked your photo description. I would continue it and submit as an article for general reading as your thoughts and effort you took in writing will not be seen by everyone. Although I only recently joined CDH I submitted an article which was accepted and apparently will appear this Friday. So go on – give it a go.
