Hello, everyone - thanks again for visiting my photos and periodically writing a comment. I wish I could thank each of you personally. Alas, I suffer from terrible laziness. It is terrible because what I want to do and what actuates often disconnect. It is a miracle I have a graduate degree and a well-paying job, I must say. I do hope to have some time to dress this summer. My plan is to take a day or two and park at a hotel in DC. I'd like to bag a room at a luxury hotel and use nice backgrounds for a private photo session, but may take the opportunity to meet with a friend or two. We shall see. This particular outfit, with nude pumps, will be selected, as well as a few dresses I've not tried on yet that I'm anxious to model. In the meantime, another shot of me starting stupidly into my cellphone camera. It's funny, because on various trips I make fun of these women photographing themselves in fits of vanity and self-love that make me cringe. And yet, here I am doing exactly the same thing. Well, maybe not exactly - I don't do that sort of self-celebration in public πŸ˜€ A note on this and other similar photos: It is a well-known trick that photographic portraits captured from slightly above head level are more flattering than from straight ahead or (gads!) from below. While this holds true in my particular case as well, the vantage point helps with opening my eyes a bit more symmetrically. I have hooded eyes, and one is slightly more open than the other when I'm relaxed, no doubt due to a design flaw or a circuit malfunction. You'll notice this on a lot of my photos. Of course, these asymmetries are what give faces their character, so I'm certainly not complaining. This has more to do with my obsession with balance and orderliness πŸ˜€ Be well, friends! I'm a guy. I like women. I like the company of women, I'm married to a woman, and I like to dress up like a woman now and then because it's fun. For me, crossdressing is an art form and an excuse to meet like-minded folks, not the expression of gender dysphoria. I should note that my photos are not doctored up with apps or significantly modified using Photoshop, though I do adjust color, contrast, and that sort of thing. It is important to me that my photos are genuine, with wrinkles, pores, and all. If they aren't genuine, I'm fooling myself and others. I take this art form pretty seriously, so if you don't have much of a profile, no photos, or your photos are obviously fake or heavily photoshopped, I will probably not respond to a friend request. I'm not here to indulge sexual fantasies, talk about fetishes, or discuss what sort of intimates I wear to work (I don't). My hope is to find people who are interested in discussing "The Craft," or the art of crossdressing. I'm also keen to ponder the nature of sexuality and gender, fashion, and makeup techniques. However, I always try to respond to correspondence - we should all help each other out. I enjoy engaging with anyone, frankly! Great photo and you have such beautiful eyes, Alexandra. Your advice about taking photos from slightly above eye level is spot on. I find that it really can change my appearance…usually for the better. Stay beautiful and hope to see more pics as the summer progresses.
