On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.

Fair enough, Mona. I’ll give it a try this Saturday. Although I think lighting is probably a more important factor than camera angle. I should also say that, to this untrained eye, you look just as fabulous in this photo as you do in your others. Especially in that gorgeous dress.
I’d agree. And add that this photo is very well lit. Mona’s gone after a complete look and completely nailed it, from shoes to hair. Love how the silver accessories complement the dress pattern, and the pumps, wow. Well done Mona x

Thank you, Angela honey. I was on the fence about that dress but as I’ve said before, I can’t resist a frilly neckline and bell sleeves. Totally agree that lighting is the most important factor in photography. In my early years, I was using soft light boxes, but now I almost always use the natural light from the bank of bedroom windows that I face. Huge difference!
This camera angle is certainly working for you Mona .. Of course, with you its not just the camera angle that makes you look so great!

Thanks so much Leonara. Sad to say that my legs have deteriorated somewhat in recent years (varicose veins!) so as much I hate hose, they’ve become a necessity.
