Girls, I’m Back Home From New Orleans And The LSU Tigers Are National Champs!

And girls, I've been hangin' around college football on the sidelines now for longer than 5 decades and to me, that was the greatest quarterback and football team at the college level I had ever seen. I'll save you all of the memories from my trip to New Orleans which would take a novel to write. But I will tell you this to convince you on this year's LSU team! One record the 15 and 0 team set and it will never ever come close to being broken ever by another college football team is the fact that this team beat 7 teams which were ranked in the top ten in the nation when they played them! It was the most brutal schedule and they whipped every one of those teams! Girls, 7 teams in the top then they played during the regular season and the playoffs! UNBELIEVABLE! It's like Joe Dimaggio's 56 consecutive game hitting streak in major league baseball. The closest 2nd placer was one of the greated hitters of all time who was Pete Rose of the Cincinnati Reds and he only got to 44 straight games with a hit. It's like Nolan Ryan's 7 no hitters - another sports record that will ever be broken. Congratulations to Coach Orgeron "Coach O", Joe Burrow who had the greatest college football season as a quarterback I've ever done research on, that defense - especially that secondary! I could go on and on to what I witnessed in that Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans! But I won't because I know most of you girls are not into sports like I've been my entire life! Glad to be "HOME" as the sign says again but instead of feeling like I'm 64 years old, I feel like I'm 84 years old today. I went close to 24 hours without sleeping, drove through the thickest fog I've ever seen both on the way and on the way back from New Orleans and it will take me at least three days to recover! Hi Scarlett, I am into sports especially college football and the WNBA. I agree with everything you said. That LSU team was special. Burrow’s season was special as well. I can say what stats but in reality what a gentleman. No ego, raised right by his parents. By helping my youngest daughter I got into women’s basketball many many years ago. If you want to see what team sports is all about watch a WNBA game. On another note. Nice outfit. You never fail to look exceptional.

You can add to this in a nice and not negative way about Joe and that is the following: kind, considerate, cocky, self-confident, humble, and the consumate team player who loved his coaches and all of his players!
