I'm just a girl in the world, trying to get by. Married mid 50s who's in love with fashions of the mid 50s to early 60s. I am a collector of vintage stockings and vintage foundation wear, lots of shoes and pretty A-Line dresses and circle skirts. Physically, let's just say, I'm blessed with good genes. I'm 5'11" in 100% nylon stocking (FFN or RHT) feet and 150 pounds. I'm a size 8-10 in dresses depending on the maker an I wear....ugh....a ladies size 11 in heels.

Thanks Bettylou. It feels perfect too. I love the way the skirt flares out and really gives the impression of a curvy girl, which I am not! 🙂

I have never commented on this site before. Been lurking for over a year. But this photo is my favorite on this site from many wonderful ones. I just had to comment.
The look of absolute joy in your face, fanning out the skirt of your dress, I think that is exactly how all of us feel when we dress.

Thanks Christina. You are absolute spot-on. I am always thrilled when dressing and I do hope that joys shows in all my pictures. SO many of us girls could make our pictures so much better if we just smiled, even just a little. I too so many girls who look bored, disinterested or simply mad. Not sure if they are trying to cultivate the “sultry” look or not, but a smile is just that, an outward expression of joy. Happy to have brought a smile to our face.

First of all YOU ARE FABULOUS. Love your styles from the 50,s and 60,s and I so very much agree with the huge joy that comes with from the big smile. It is unfortunate so many pictures here don’t show that.
