Glamming it up for International Beauty Day

Hot off the press of a massive Pink Fog weekend. One of the photoshoots was total glam, starting with this bridesmaid's dress from David's Bridal. I always feel a tinge of pity for the poor girls who are obligated to buy these expensive dresses, which mostly end up in closets, never to be worn again. Eventually they get donated to charity where CDs like me are happy to give them a second life. So thank you, bridesmaids everywhere. Take heart in knowing you will one day be a bride yourself, at which point you will end up with yet another expensive single-use dress.

Mona

On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.
