You may be familiar with the phrase, "God doesn't make mistakes," yes? Well, I'm not a religious person, but if that's true then he (or she) really screwed up by not making me female... I hope this doesn't come up as egotistical or narcissistic, I'm just sharing the overwhelming thought that was running through my head on a loop after I put this look together. I mean - look at how happy I am! Regardless of the gender I was assigned at birth, this picture is all the proof I need that my true gender is female. What that means for the future is still a work in progress, but I can't deny that this is who I am.

You look great Lexi and make a lovely looking woman, but it is a lot of work to get that look down. Don’t you appreciate the days you can just be your man self too?

Less and less these days, Jackie. And only because getting glammed up like this is a lot of work, but it is for GGs too! I’ve actually been getting more comfortable, around the house, just wearing more casual clothes (skinny jeans, leggings, t-shirts) and minimal makeup. Do I wish it was a lot less work to look feminine? Absolutely! But, I also enjoy the work. I can get basic makeup done in less than 30 minutes, and that’s mostly because of foundation work to cover beard shadow. If I didn’t have to deal with that… Not to get too deep,… Read more »

Oh, that makes sense. If I could change one thing about myself it would be to have no facial hair. I don’t mind shaving the rest of my body. but the moustache gets sensitive if I dress more than every other day. We all have a a lot in common, but we all still have our differences. Stay Good

Had to go and bring that up, huh? 😉

There’s a talk that needs to happen and…well, I’m not exactly looking forward to it.

I can definitely understand what you are saying. I have had that same thought but in my heart i now that God knew that I would get to where i am from the beginning. However, i do wish he would have let me be physically 100% girl.

Hi Lexi. Just be yourself and enjoy. No need to worry on gender especially in your situation as you look beautiful. Your personal definition is certainly not the social norm, placed upon all of us with respect to clothing, that defines you as a person. In contrast you are how you feel inward that is important. If you feel like a woman, you are a woman.

Lately, I have been dressing up in glam almost every day before going out in public. Yes, practice makes perfect as I can be ready from start to finish in 45 minutes.

Thanks, April. I often need to remind myself of this…reminds of something I heard in a training on gender diversity recently, which is essentially: if someone tells you they are trans, they are trans. (Or non-binary, agender, what have you…)
