Hi there, I am a girl in her mid-50's who has been dressing all her life, but has only started to 'own it' in the last few years. I adore dresses, makeup and shoes and love nothing better than spending an evening getting glammed up for a photoshoot. I am 5'11", have blue eyes and (I like to think) shapely ankles. My style is 'glamorous' - I aim for a tasteful and classy appearance, and take great care with my makeup and hair. I have found the CD community to be warm and welcoming, and hope to make some new friends by joining this site x

Emma, you look like a professional model in your full-length photos. But I love these mirror pictures too. The mark of a true beauty is how lovely you look close up. And these selfies of yours are truly beautiful.

This photo confuses matters – it’s taken with my phone, which I’m holding in front of the SLR I use for the ‘studio’ shots
OK, thanks. I have to use my phone to take remote photos on my camera. My camera though rather new doesn’t have Bluetooth. I have to use SnapBridge to connect to it.
My SLR lets me use a little remote fob to trigger the shutter – you may see it concealed in my palm in some of my photos!
