I am a tall, 50(ish) lifelong CDer and love who I am and love my inner self. Although I maintain my secrecy for many reasons I am very happily married to a wonderful and accepting woman. She accepts me for me, loves both sides of my alter ego and accepts Danika. I am a military vet of more than 20 years, I have been to many places on this planet and I love this country and I believe we live in the best place on earth. I hope to refine my feminine self, find that delicate balance between boy me and gurl me because both are awesome and I don't ever want my wife to be concerned Danika is more important than her. In guy mode, no one would ever guess I am wearing panties but in gurl mode there'd be no mistaking it, I don't think I would pass. I don't necessarily have a need to pass but would someday like to go out with my wife en-femme shopping, dinner, dancing or whatever. She is ok with it, I would have to muster up enough courage and be in the right environment to just don my favorite dress and go for it. Maybe someday 🙂 Being tall is definitely a challenge in finding clothes but have found a few decent places locally and lots online. We often go bra and panty shopping together and have some favorite places, I am certain the ladies have figured out who is actually picking out what :). We have both come to love JCP for their discounts. I've been dressing on and off for most of my life. Buy, sneak, purge, repeat which I'm sure most here can relate. I finally came clean a few years ago to my now Ex-Wife and again, I am sure most have dealt with that as well. Maybe even some of you can appreciate and understand the vial, hateful and toxic relationship that followed and the inevitable divorce. When I started seeing my now wonderful wife, I told her about my crossdressing shortly after things started to get to the serious level. I liked her so much and I was so afraid to put everything on the line to trust her with my secret but I couldn't move on without being 100% honest with her. Her response was "That's it? Really? That's cool! Can I help you in anyway?" You can imagine my relief and feeling of security knowing I have found My Person. I look forward to many many years ahead with my best friend. I have seen many posts on here and have only waited because I didn't have a proper name in which to register as my gurlself (aka user name). It has some meaning for me and I believe it is fitting. I look forward to hearing more stories and adventures and maybe even share some of my own in the future.
