You look lovely!! Hey, I did the same years ago… flew to NYC for a femme weekend with friends, but I had to be back to work on Monday… so booked a return flight at 6:00am on Sunday… which was a terrible idea, considering I realized it was 2:30 am when we got to the next club! Needless to say, I had to run! Had to walk block and a half to get to a street with some traffic trying to catch a cab to go to the hotel and get changed (to my drab self) and get my stuff,… Read more »
I couldn’t help but to laugh a bit while reading your story. I’d have to go into training if I ever wanted to see 2:30. I fear fortunately for me I idiot only need 5 or 6 hours of sleep but any less and I just don’t function well.
Oh the things we get iutlrselves in to.
Hi Roberta, like you, staying up until 2:30, would be a challenge, one I would probably fail at attempting, lol. A 6am flight is something I may book, I have always been an early raiser, usually the crowds are way down, they all stayed up
Late parting with Gabriela. Have a safe flight, thanks for sharing, once again, your adventures.
Love the look on your Roberta. Hair to heels beauty. You don’t have to book a 6 o’clock to anywhere you can book a 6 o’clock to Wilmington Delaware and visit me. I would love the visit. He he. Love. Janice.
First of all, THANK YOU Roberta for letting us share this beautiful adventure with you. I only wish that I could have stowed away in your purse to soak in all the eye candy that our beautiful world has to offer, first hand!
Secondly, Roberta, I don’t believe you for an instant. I’ve fussed you plenty a time for being on site at 0’dark:30!
Safe travels, girlfriend.
This was the first I’ve had to use an alarm, in many many years. 2:30 is even a little early for me. Glad to getting back to familiar grounds. Those northerners can be a little bit strange.
They’re called YANKEES, dear.
And, speaking from first person Yankeeism, yes “they” are! The only reason that I can be identified as any portion of a tolerable human being, is that I married up. My true Southern Belle of a wife has had nearly a full time job polishing off my Yankee edges!
Remember the POGO comic strip? “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” I guess I can wear that badge of shame…
Its an unspoken tradition of southerners to help assimilate those less fortunate, who were not born in the south.
I’m glad you enjoyed your trip and I must say your a beautiful woman
