I am a semi retired professional who lives in the Albany NY area. For last four years I have become much active as a cd. I regularly go to cd events. I went to Triangles in Danbury CT for a year before it closed. I have been to Fantasia Fair, First Event and the Keystone conferences. I usually go once a month to bars in CT that have cd nights. I even have been going out locally more. I consider myself a typical cd: my goal is to pass. However, when I go to a cd event I sometimes opt for an outfit that I would never wear in public (eg short skirt or dress). My crossdressing is not just about the clothes. I have strong desire to express a feminine persona, which means interacting with people as Joan. I try to walk, talk, and act like a woman. (I am not a queen, but I am turned off by cds who act masculine while dressed.) As indicated above, I am interested in making friends w/ local gals.
