Mona gets down to business in black and white

Meeting with her boss at Acme Corporation, Mona got right to the point: “I want a raise! Do you think smart business outfits like this grow on trees? This frilly bow blouse alone cost half my paycheck.” “Ha, that blouse reminds me of the puffy shirt from Seinfeld,” replied the boss with a dismissive smirk. “You jerk!” Mona shouted as she reached across the desk and slapped him hard. “Now you’ve got a puffy face to match my blouse, wise guy.” As he escorted her from the building, the security guard stopped for a moment to comment, “I’m sorry to see a stylish business woman like you get fired, especially while wearing that pretty bow blouse.” Hearing this, Mona’s heart leapt with joy. “Maybe things aren’t so bad after all,” she thought. The guard continued, “You know, it kind of reminds me of the shirt from that Seinfeld episode.” SLAP! And that, my friends, is what you call a Slappy Ending.

On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.

Haha…I’m afraid that was more of a sappy ending than slappy @gabrielainamor. I do get a bit carried away sometimes….must be all the holiday punch.

I can envison it all from your vivid prose. The lesson I take away is not to get on your wrong side. So I know which side that is, are you right handed? Or when it comes to slapping are you ambidextrous?
