For a while now, I’ve admired how Marion and Jessica have used corset belts in their presentation. That inspired me to try one of my own. I ordered one from Amazon, and it arrived a few days ago. I had one of my Saturday dress-up sessions today, and decided to wear it with this dress. I have to say, I was pleased with the way it looked.

Even as a boy, I thought girl’s clothing was more interesting than boy’s clothing. I dabbled with crossdressing in my early 20’s trying on my sisters’ clothes — but didn’t take it very far because very little fit me. Eventually my attention turned to my career — getting my degree and teaching at a university. So my crossdressing laid dormant for decades. But the itch never totally went away. When I retired, I realized that the time was right to try my hand at crossdressing again. Except this time I got serious. The internet provided me with women’s apparel that actually fit me — and delivered it to my front door. YouTube taught me how to apply makeup and other tricks to feminize my appearance. And I had the time and freedom to experiment. The result is that I was able to create Angela, a woman whose beauty and femininity exceeded my wildest expectations. I’m sorry if that sounds vain, but I’ll never forget the first time I saw her in the mirror, fully realized, staring back at me. What a rush! If only my 20-something self could see me now! I joined Crossdresser Heaven about three months after I got back into crossdressing, and it changed my life. The support and love I feel from this community has given me the confidence and courage to take my crossdressing to the next level. I go out in public as Angela — something that I honestly thought I would never do when I began my crossdressing journey. Now, I regularly go out shopping and meet up with my CDH friends. And I’m planning a professional makeover and attended the Keystone Convention in 2025.

Beautiful as always Angela. Nothing like the feeling of a tight hug from a pretty corset belt. This is an inspired outfit as the belt sets off the very feminine lace of the dress perfectly. Well done my friend.

Hello Angela, I really like your dress and of course the corset belt. It creates such a beautiful figure-hugging look. My advice would be to go through your closet and look for dresses that you didn’t like; with a corset belt they could now work.

The black belt goes well with plain dresses and the brown one with light colored dresses with patterns or jeans. If you would choose black shoes with a dress, the black belt will most likely go well too.

I do love my corsets Angela, but I didn’t know they made belts too. I love what they do for your waist line to creating a beautiful figure, but you don’t need that, you are already there.

Very nice Angela. I’m never sure with mine if the laces go front or back. This one looks fabulous so mystery solved ♥️

Wow Angela! I have always thought you had a nice figure but with the belt, you have increased your beautiful figure to a higher level! A great choice of money spent!

It’s a great look on you , Angela. I have a very similar black one, but with metal clasps to fasten it. I find that ‘thin’ belts don’t work for me yet, but with the right dress this type of belt enhances the look much better. My belt is just a tadge too big and doesn’t pull my waist in so much as create the illusion of a more defined waist.
