But don't get too excited: we're still a long way from full acceptance. She remains somewhere on the spectrum from tolerance to "I don't want to know and I don't want to see (in person)." She does look at some of my photos if I prod her, but never asks to see them. And she regularly tells me that I wear too much makeup. To which I reply, "Damn right I wear too much makeup...I'm a 65 year old man trying to be a pretty woman." Oh well, at least she surprises me with an occasional dress. And last week, she ran out of nail top coat and I was able to give her mine. "See honey, there are some advantages to having a CD husband." Baby steps, baby steps.

On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.
