Newbie interested in making friends with like-minded individuals for chatting and outings. I have a slim, athletic (5 ft 7 in) build and fun, outgoing girly personality. I am usually passable in most situations and enjoy going out in public. I recall having feelings about dressing en femme since junior high school and did try on bras and panties at that age. However I suppressed those urges for a few decades until very recently. Now I’m obsessed with wanting to dress en femme, but must do so discreetly. I’ve not confided in any close friends or family, although have met others in group settings.
I wish. The only places I go to are Ulta and every discount store near by. Today I went to Ulta, The Rack, TJ Maxx, Penney’s, Target and Burlington Coat Factory. I bought nails and glue and a very sexy black dress with Spaghetti Straps. I wish there was more to do when dressed up.
Jackie — I hear your pain … I try to push myself to just get out there. It helps to “buddy up” with other girls. The Chicago area has so many opportunities for such outings. PM privately if you’re not aware of them.

That dress fits you perfectly, Brandi! Moreover, you look beautiful in it! Where to go? I face the same challenge, can’t seem to locate any local girls to hang out with, and I don’t frequent bars, so after my shopping is done, I usually just chill in the park or at a local coffee shop.
Peggy Sue — it’s a common complaint and challenge for girls like us. Finding a few local confidants is so helpful . I do much of the same, but have friends in a few of the cities that I frequent.
