Always happy to see people out and about.! Even more when they look genuinely happy!
And THIS girl was Genuinely Happy, with two capitals!!! lol Sometimes when I haven’t been out for a while (awww, Covid…) I I’m shy, fearful, and nervous going out, especially around men; avoiding eye contact, etc. But then when I force myself get out, as I did today that shyness and nervousness usually get quickly blown away by the sun, wind, and the warmth of passerby’s smiles – as was the case today. Reminds me of a quote from my favorite movie (well, my brother’s) from Master and Commander, where the captain played by Russell Crow turns away an offer of a warm coat from one of his officers during a cold night on the Quarter Deck, when he replies, “How can I be cold when my love for my King burns in my heart?” Ha!
