Düsseldorf is the capital of Altbier, although not the only place where that type of beer is brewed. I grew up close to here and started drinking this fantastic brew before I reached legal drinking age already (which, in Germany, is at 16 for beer and wine).
I haven’t flown for a while but I felt at home in this simulator (wife had me prove my ability in a 737 simulator for my 40th birthday). This photo reminds me what my life used to be about 🙂
