I'm just a girl in the world, trying to get by. Married, 61 years old and who's in love with fashions of the mid 50s to early 60s and I dabble in modern fashion too. I am a collector of vintage stockings and vintage foundation wear, lots of shoes and pretty A-Line dresses and circle skirts. Physically, let's just say, I'm blessed with good genes. I'm 5'11" in stocking (FFN or RHT) feet and 145 pounds. I'm a size 8-10 in dresses depending on the maker an I wear....ugh....a ladies size 11 in heels.

Thanks Felecia. You are correct I have been given a gift and I nurture it everyday. Good genes are part of the equation, but hard work and dedication to the craft (because my makeup sessions to resemble and art and crafts fair) are part of what makes the difference. I also find that simply smiling and showing the world that I’m enjoying myself tends to make my photos a bit better too.

Thanks Serena. This was my first go at skirt and blouse combo and I think it turned out pretty well. I have a few more pics from that same day that I’ll post later, but I kinda liked it. A bit of a departure from my traditional A line dress, but fun nonetheless.

Thanks Mona. Working on some different poses. Kinda hard to break away from the ones that I know best, but experimentation can lead to new discoveries. Who knew an end table would be a great prop to girl time photos? 🙂
