On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.

What did Coco Chanel say about the little black dress? I think it was something to the effect that every woman’s wardrobe needed to have one. Yours looks fantastic! I think I need to go and buy one for myself. (I don’t think my goth dress counts.)

It sure beats golf and fishing hands down. I drive fast cars and play slow blues guitar at the weekends but still find a little Ginny time now and then. You look lovely BTW.

I used to play a lot, then it got so expensive I played less and less. If you don’t pursue it with some vigor and determination, it is an exercise in frustration and not enjoyable. I’d much rather be out shopping for clothes than replacing divots
Jackie Boy, why don’t you take up golfing again while dressed? Combine two “sports” in one. Talk about divots if you wear some stiletto heels, though.
I have a friend that owns a Home on the 14th hole at Sawgrass. Why don’t you caddy for me in your favorite Romper and golf shoes. Stilettos would be inappropriate. Sawgrass has strict rules on fashion, and as my caddy you could tamp in my little divots.

Fishing? I don’t have the patience and hate getting the smell of fish on my hands. Golf? I had to play the game in the Navy, in order to get promotions and good assignments. But now taking a sweet bubble bath, moisturizing, using some perfume, then slipping into some delicate lingerie, carefully placing your cute painted toes into sheer stockings, and finally pulling on a dress and doing your make up before stepping into those beautiful five inch stiletto sandals, -now- you are speaking my language. Peggy Sue, you are a girl after my own heart. Spend the past three days in the pink fog and just reveling in all things girly (pretty much everything you mention). I don’t mind fishing but I detest golf. Although I do like to remind myself: there is a very fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot LOL.
Golfing is fun but wearing a LBD is exhilarating.

Most guys wouldn’t really rock the dress and would break both ankles and knees and dislocate the hips if attempting 5” heels. (You have to feel sorry for them! 🙂 )

Thanks so much, girlfriend. After the mini-disaster on Friday, I managed to make up for it with some satisfying dressing on Saturday and Sunday. Lots of good photos…it’s hard to pick just one or two (as you well know).
