I'm a lifelong crossdresser and I absolutely LOVE dressing as a woman, being a woman and expressing myself as a woman! I feel more alive and truly like myself when I can express myself as Holly and go out and about and live my life as a woman. Even just doing chores and running errands feels more real to me when I'm doing them as a woman. So yes, I've been fortunate to have been able to dress and go out in public and live at least a portion of my life as a woman. I can truly say that being a woman in public, being seen and treated as a woman, has been a highlight of my life. Not only does it confirm who I want to be, it makes me happy and it just feels right. When I'm out as a woman, I don't feel as if I'm a man dressed like a woman, I just feel like the woman I am, the woman I want to be, so being seen and accepted and treated as a woman just feels natural and normal. Why am I this way? I honestly don't know and at this point I've given up trying to understand it. Like many of us, my earliest memories are of playing with dolls and makeup, playing dress up, and then a few years later discovering my mom's lingerie and trying it on.
