I bought this double-breasted (no pun) Navy blazer ten years ago at a high-level thrift store. It was new with a $285 tag still attached. It is a size 14 (Juniors?) and fits perfectly. After modeling it several times en femme, I tried it with pressed khakis, dress shirt and tie. It was amazing! So, I made up a story about buying from a sale rack in a men’s store and wore it to an event. My wife thought it looked great. Since then, it’s been a kind of go-to outfit for weddings, dinners, etc. I get lots of compliments on how stylish and “young” it makes me look. No one has yet to observe any feminine characteristics or that it buttons (overlaps) on the “wrong” side!

While I am a septuagenarian, I have tried to stay fit and trim with regular exercise and moderate eating. I haven’t done much full dressing for a few years because of the need to maintain facial hair and insufficient opportunities. If my wife was more comfortable with my androgyny, I would likely dress that way most of the time.

The jacket looks great, how wonderful you are able to wear it so much. Your comment about the “wrong side” for the buttons made me think of a time someone told me the zipper, on my shorts, was on the wrong side while I was shopping. Lol.

I love a tailored business look! I buy women’s suits from repurpose stores and absolutely make the best business lady I can. My hair goes back in a tight bun, makeup is strict and clean and heels are a bit lower but mean business. Love it.
