Even as a boy, I thought girl’s clothing was more interesting than boy’s clothing. I dabbled with crossdressing in my early 20’s trying on my sisters’ clothes — but didn’t take it very far because very little fit me. Eventually my attention turned to my career — getting my degree and teaching at a university. So my crossdressing laid dormant for decades. But the itch never totally went away. When I retired, I realized that the time was right to try my hand at crossdressing again. Except this time I got serious. The internet provided me with women’s apparel that actually fit me — and delivered it to my front door. YouTube taught me how to apply makeup and other tricks to feminize my appearance. And I had the time and freedom to experiment. The result is that I was able to create Angela, a woman whose beauty and femininity exceeded my wildest expectations. I’m sorry if that sounds vain, but I’ll never forget the first time I saw her in the mirror, fully realized, staring back at me. What a rush! If only my 20-something self could see me now! I joined Crossdresser Heaven about three months after I got back into crossdressing, and it changed my life. The support and love I feel from this community has given me the confidence and courage to take my crossdressing to the next level. I have now begun to go out in public as Angela — something that I honestly thought I would never do when I began my crossdressing journey. If only my 5-month-ago self could see me now! So where do I go from here? I truly don’t know — and that’s what excites me the most.

Thank you, Amy. I was a little surprised myself how well I was able to slip into this dress. It doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
You will have a great time in Las Vegas. I was just there for New Years Eve had a wonderful time.
I’m going with my two sisters and their husbands. All of them know about my crossdressing. But this trip won’t be home about crossdressing. It’ll be a lot more about gambling and other Vegas-related activities.

I have been to Vegas once… when I was 10! So, definitely not as much fun as I hope you’ll have.
Now, unless you’ll be there with a group of people who doesn’t know about Angela, it will be a great opportunity to go out enfemme. Sure, people may read you, but who cares? You will never see them again.
Just remember personal safety practices are different for men and women, and you’ll be ok!!
I don’t why, but I would feel more confident going out en femme in Las Vegas. It’s the whole “whatever happens in Vegas” attitude. Someday, down the road, I might try to make it happen. But I have a lot to do before I get to that part of my journey.
Wow, amazing. As a girl who doesn’t venture out, I’m last one to tell you to go ahead and strut you’re amazing stuff through the casino and everywhere else. But you should go for it…it’s Vegas after all.

When I finally decide to go out in public as Angela (soon!), my plan is to go out locally at first. Once I get comfortable with that, I can start setting my sights on faraway trips like Las Vegas. I’m in this for the long haul, and Vegas will be there when I’m ready.
