Thank you so much!! Yes, I have a feeling Angela and I bought the same dress with different patterns. I added the lower sleeves to cover my hairy forearms, because shaving isn’t something I’m ready to commit to yet. Stands to reason two besties would have similar taste. And yeah, it’s funny, because I HATE shopping as a guy, but I LOVE shopping for Gemma. My Amazon cart and wishlist is HUGE!! LOL
Gemma, your comment about shopping hits me where I live. For years, my male self couldn’t understand the female fascination with shopping. “I don’t want to shop, I want to BUY” is what I would always say. But now that I see the world through Angela’a eyes, I get it! I love to shop as Angela — and I mean LOVE! Everywhere and everything. I look back and wonder how my male self could have been so clueless!
Couldn’t agree more!! Seriously, my Amazon list is enormous now. If only I had the confidence to shop in thrift stores, I would be dangerous. My wife’s hobby is shopping in thrift stores. I always wondered how she could flip through the Goodwill racks for hours. We all get great deals on some good clothes because of her, but I never understood it. NOW, I get it. Someday soon I hope to reveal my secret to her, and maybe someday join her to shop for Gemma. Or even better have her bring home something nice for Gemma. What a change… Read more »
Gemma, you look as cute as a button! I agree with Gabriela, your dress reminds me of my favorite. But -oh- those long sleeves! Isn’t that dress magical? When I put mine on, I transform somehow. I look cuter and feel brighter. It looks like it has the same effect on you. I love seeing you in that dress and can’t wait to see your balcony photos.
Hey girl!!! When I saw the photo of you in that dress several weeks ago, I realized it was the same design as mine, but I didn’t have photos of me in it yet. I added the sleeves to help cover my forearms which I’m self-conscious about still. I felt so comfortable in that dress and really could have stayed in it all day, but I had other looks to try.
